Article Writing Methods To Build Your List

by Rachel Rae

Article writing is a powerful and effective way to build your list, whether you’ve thought about it or not.

Article directories are a place where you can submit your articles written on your topic of expertise or interest, where other newsletter editors visit to find content for their newsletters. Article directories also attract other readers as well.

Leveraging your viral marketing efforts on article writing can be rewarding, if done right. In the real sense, you are actually proving your worth and demonstrating your expertise about your business through the articles you write.

So, how can this method in effect build your mailing list? The answer: the resource box you attach to your articles. In your resource box (also known as bio box), you include a brief detail about yourself and your business site together with its URL.

It is suggested that you directly your link in your resource box to a landing page for your mailing list’s sign up page so you can get your visitor’s name and email address, which will be your mailing list.

If your articles are found to be worthy, webmasters and ezine publishers will publish your work on their sites and ezines to be seen by their readers. Those readers will see your resource box and there you have it, viral marketing for your site.

To start with, submit your articles to article directories and submitter sites that have been around and are established. Do a simple online search for these as there are many great ones out there to choose from.

Use Online Diaries Instead Of Testimonials

by Kim and Charles Petty

Have your customers publish an online diary instead of giving you a testimonial. The diary would include regularly updated entries of how customers are using your product to improve their life. You could give customers a free product or a rebate in exchange for them publishing it online.

Your customers could write diary entries about goals they have reached using your product, the positive emotions it’s given them, the fears and worries your product has taken out of their lives, how bad their lives were before they bought it, how it has helped other people in their lives, etc.

Your customers could update it daily, weekly or monthly. It will depend on how often they use your product. You could publish the diary right in your ad or link directly to the diary. You could provide the people with web space for writing the online diary or have them e-mail you the diary entries for you to publish.

You can make the online diary extra persuasive by also including customer’s personal profile, pictures, online video of them using your product, net audio of them talking about your product, even scanned handwritten letters, etc.

An online diary would likely outsell the common testimonial because it’s updated on a regular basis and reveals more personal information. A diary is considered private which would make people more curious to read it and believe it’s legitimacy. —-

Use Bundling To Increase Your Profits And Sales

by Kim and Charles Petty

An effective way to increase your profits and sales is to bundle many products or services together into one package. This gives people more reasons to buy your products and services. People also have come to believe package deals are a better value. You want all the products or services to be closely related. For example: if you’re selling a computer you could add in software, hardware, computer furniture, etc.

There are many ways to go about choosing the right products or services to bundle into one package. You could survey your customers and see what products or services they would like you to offer in the future. Spy on your competition and see what products and services they’re offering or not offering. If you would like to, bundle unrelated products or services together, ask your customers which ones would be of interest to them.

Bundling can also increase your target markets which in return would give you a larger audience to sell your products and services. For example: if you’re selling a baseball magazine you could add a free baseball when someone buys a subscription. You’re now targeting people who want the baseball magazine and those that want to play baseball out in the yard. Some people buy a package deal just to get one of the products.

There are many sources where you can find products and services to create a package deal. You can buy them from wholesalers or drop shippers. You can buy the reproduction/resell rights to other people’s products.

Team-up with your competition to create a package deal. You could joint venture or cross promotion deal with other businesses. You could also create your own products and services. Be creative! —-

What Are Reverse Mortgages

by Lee Beattie

If you are a senior and have trouble living on your fixed income then you may need to consider utilizing a reverse mortgage to help with the ever growing cost of living. If you are like nearly all individuals living on a fixed income because the prices of food and gas are making it increasingly difficult to enjoy the life style you projected for during your retirement. Many are considering acquiring a part time job to help with cost only this can have a negative impact on your social security income and your tax returns as you may end up owing taxes at the end of the year.

With reverse mortgages nonetheless you can attain access to extra money and it will not negatively touch on your actual financial situation. This type of mortgage is easy to qualify for and can help get you back to living in the style you had hoped for. Many consumers wonder what the difference between a reverse mortgage or a home equity loan is here is how each works:

Reverse mortgages, plainly put, permit you to apply the equity that you have in your home without expecting to make monthly payments. A home equity line of credit also grants you access to your equity; nevertheless you will need to establish payments each month on the sum that you borrow.

There are other factors that you should also consider. For example with a home equity line of credit you need to show proof of income to your lender in order to qualify whereas with the reverse mortgage you do not need to as the lenders will get their money back when you or any one on the deed are no longer living in the home.

So, do you qualify for this type of loan? There are only a a couple of qualifications that you must meet to be eligible. First, you and everyone on the deed must be at least 62 years old. Next, you must own the property outright or you may have a real small mortgage left on the home. This property must too represent your primary residence and you need to be living there. This is all you need to qualify for this type of loan.

Once you qualify you can receive your money one of several ways. You can receive a lump sum payment, you can prefer to have set monthly payments, or use a line of credit option. The crucial affair to think of with this type of loan is that you will never be tossed out of your home. The lender will wait until everyone on the deed is no longer living in the household to collect their fees, principle and interest.

There are a few negatives that you may also want to consider and those are higher interest rates, and higher fees. Since you are not producing any monthly payments on the loan and the lender may need to hold off years or potential decades to get repaid, they more often than not charge more such interest than some other types of mortgages. The closing fees are also more money than a typical closing maybe.

So if you find yourself suffering to really work at it to make ends meet, are at least 62 years old, and own your home, you should look at a reverse mortgage. Receiving this extra income can help you to continue the same life style and as most analysts will tell you that by the end of 2008 gas prices, on the national average, could be $5 or more a gallon let alone the increase in food prices.

You Should Be Creating eBooks For Traffic and Lead Generation

by Stu McLaren

There is some talk online that you can’t make any money with eBooks and they are no longer worth creating. I would beg to differ with these people and I will give you a few reasons why eBooks should be created to act as a lead generation tool and increase traffic to your website.

Why create eBooks?

Firstly, if you give that eBook away people will visit your website.

Two, they are looking for information if they are coming to your website. If you have created an eBook with the information they are looking for it makes it easy for them because you are already in their mind.

Here’s a quick example. Very recently, about almost a year ago, I was the best man in a wedding. I knew nothing about being a best man.

One of the things that I was doing online was scouring the Internet of things that I should be doing as a best man, because I had no clue. I was going to all kinds of websites trying to piece all this information together, when I know for a fact that had there been an eBook that basically created a step by step process of what I needed to do in order to be a best man, I would have bought it.

How do I know that? Because I have bought eBooks in a similar nature, for various other topics, outlining step by step what I needed to do.

There were two reasons I bought those books. Number one, I was in need of the information they held. Number two, I didn’t have to go searching and piece information together, this website had all the information packaged together.

There is more than one reason to be creating an eBook. Another one is within your eBook you can advertise your products and services.

You should be thinking of your products acting like a funnel. This is what we call the marketing funnel. Your eBook would be at the top of the funnel and further down are your higher priced products.

You want to use the eBook to build trust and demonstrate the value that you can provide to your customers so that they are more willing and eager to buy your higher-priced items.

Ebooks can easily be the way you show people how much value you provide and this will only make them want to work with you more. People will buy from those they feel they can trust and gain knowledge from, rarely not from someone they have never heard of before.

You are creating an introductory product in which you can then introduce your other higher-priced products and services within. If people want to take the next step you have giving them the opportunity to do so.

It becomes a platform to advertise your other products and services within the eBook.

To be clear, you don’t want your eBook to be one big sales pitch though. You really have to balance mentioning your products and providing valuable information because this is what people will judge on what they can get from you in your other products.

This article, for example is one method I am using. It would be wonderful if you would go and purchase my other products, attend my seminars and work closely with me. I know have to gain your trust and show you that I do provide valuable content before you go and do that.

In order to do that, I provide free articles like this one, and I try to jam pack as much information in to those articles so that you can’t wait to get your hand on my next article or some of my products.

You should apply this to your eBooks and take the same philosophy. Pack as much information into your eBooks as possible while mentioning your other products and services. Be careful not to make it one big sales pitch, or people will be won’t want to continue and are less likely to purchase anything else from you.

There are many reasons why you should be creating eBook, increasing your traffic and providing you a platfrom to introduce your other products or services are just two of them.

May ideas come to you when you need them most!

PSP Game Downloads – 3 Quick Ways to Download Games For Your PSP

by Davion W

Are you keen to discover how to get top quality PSP game downloads? Well, I am guessing you are if you are a PSP owner. These days, there are just too many download sites but too few safe options. You can go hunting for hours online only to end up in disappointment with broken, non-working or incomplete versions of PSP game downloads. Read on to learn how to find the full versions you want.

If you can spare a little cash, $40 is all you ever need to join a quality and professional download site. From there, you can download more than just one game. In fact, if you have the time, you can “ransack” and download all the PSP game downloads and never pay a single cent extra. This is a big plus point and definitely more worth the money than buying a full game at the local retail store.

Another quick benefit is the high speed download and secured download environment. You are assured of the quality of the game since you are paying for it and the service has quality assurance guarantee.

The other method available to you is file sharing via the peer to peer or P2P networks that offer PSP game downloads. Download and install their client software and you can search and grab any game you find. But users often complain that the games are either not working or they are not exactly the full versions. It’s just too bad. But if you are looking beyond PSP games, these networks do offer clean good MP3 music files.

Another thing you need to guard against when using P2P is that viruses can spread around quite easily. You have no control over the users in the network and if they want to distribute malware or harmful elements, you are at their mercies.

The third source will be the blog sites. Strange as it may sound, some gamers will list the games for PSP on their websites. There is no formal announcement or promotion of any kind but rather it is made known only on their blogs. Visitors who happen to see them can then request for the games. Some do charge a nominal fee. Google for “PSP game sites or blogs” and you may just be able to find some of such sites.

But as a general rule of thumb, you pay for what you get. If you want it free, be prepared for the risks.

Another thing that might be put into consideration is the quality of the file download. Anyway, the Internet is a gold mine in terms of resources. There is surely a way for one to find the best PSP game downloads.
