Hey XBOX 360 Owners! Here’s How To Download XBOX 360 Games…
With the number of emails that we have answered recently about downloading XBOX 360 games, we thought it would be a good idea to write a quick guide about downloading xbox 360 games.
Microsoft has to be thrilled with the success of the xbox 360. Even with the newer systems that have been launched since the xbox was released, the 360 continues to keep their loyal customers and pick up new fans every day. It’s a powerful system that has earned it position at the top of the video game industry.
If you do own an xbox 360, you may have heard about how you can download games on your computer and then use them on your system. This is one of our favorite features as it lets you find new games online instead of having to go and spend money at the electronics store each time.
Ok – so how is this possible and how you download games?
When you want to download xbox 360 games, you typically have two options that you can choose from.
The first one is to look for websites that claim to give you “free xbox 360 downloads”. There are a few out there but they can end up being a big headache.
These types of sites have a bad reputation for spreading viruses and other computer infections. Because these sites don’t have any type of monitoring system, you can never be sure of what you are downloading.
Second problem – the download speeds are slow and unfortunately many of the xbox game files that are offered don’t even work when you try to use them. It can get annoying very quickly!
The second option is to use a specialty xbox 360 download website. These are websites that specialize in offering xbox 360 downloads and have been put together by businesses that offer these downloads to people who register as a member.
It’s not just games that you can download from these sites. You can also download movies, TV shows, software and other media files for your xbox. As opposed to the first option, these websites make sure that all the files work, are 100% safe and that the download speeds are fast.
As you may have already guessed, these website do charge a small fee to become a member. It’s only about $50 though and this is a one-time fee that gives you unlimited access to xbox downloads. Once you are a member, you are a member for life. All it takes is you logging in and you can then download as many games as you want.
As a member you also get all the software that is needed to make the games work on your xbox 360. Setting everything up takes about 10 minutes and the entire process is incredibly easy.
The one thing to watch for is websites that charge a monthly fee or “per-download” fees. There are some that do this so that they can make a few extra bucks. However, you will want to choose a site that only bills you a one-time fee for unlimited downloads.
Hopefully this article sheds a little light on how you can start using xbox 360 game downloads. It’s definately an easy and less expensive to keep up with the latest games. Watch out though – it’s addictive!
