The Windows mobile Smartphone is a combination of the cell phone and the personal digital assistant. The PC software is there in the cell phone so it can be used as a personal computer when on the go. It was this evolution of the cell phone that had many companies altering their selling tactics. Most companies elected not to pursue the pocket PC, since Smartphones were becoming more of a mainstream choice.

The new lines of models include Smartphones, which have the latest PC software, along with the speed and processing ability that you need to schedule your appointments, send and receive emails, text message and make calls.
