In fact, it will be quite impossible for a newbie to promote in more than two niches. This is one of the most serious mistakes they will make. They will try to join as many programs as possible. However, you will not make money by doing that.
I will suggest that you join two to three programs only. You should not work in more than two niches. You may wonder why I suggest this. This is because you will not have the time and energy to do so much work at a time. It is impossible for you to promote products in 10 different niches at a time.
Besides, a lot of new marketers will promote the products without any knowledge about it. In fact, you will need to learn about the products before you can successfully promote them. If it is possible, you should purchase and try to use the products yourself.
You are trying the products yourself because you would like to gain some knowledge about the products you are going to promote. This is a crucial step. Of course there may be some products you cannot try yourself form some reasons. In this case you will need to read a lot of product reviews so that you can gain more knowledge about them.
Some newbies may try to promote the affiliate products without having affiliate sites. Yes it is totally true that you may still be able to promote the products in places such as forums. However, you should still create your own sites. As a matter of fact, some forums will not allow you to post affiliate links. From this you will know the importance of your affiliate site.
You cannot build a website with only one page. You will need to build a website which is very rich in contents. Of course the contents will be related to the products you are promoting. You will need to make your site a useful and informative one.
Patience will be very important when you are working as an affiliate marketer. Some newbies will give up after working for two weeks. However, the truth is that not many people can start making money in such as short period of time! You will need to work for some time and eventually you will make money.
