Getting Employed With Certifications

by Mary Bush

The current global economic condition looks bleak and there are huge numbers of company’s in nearly all the countries which are in big losses and are cutting jobs as a part of cost cutting.

As a part of the same cost cutting many companies are trying to automate most of the back office operations with the help of advanced information services which are available at cheap rates these days. The cost of computer hardware has come down considerably, off course programmers are required to code the applications according to the needs of the company and organization.

Earlier for this job they used to choose anybody who has some experience in coding the requirement and now they are looking for people who have technical certifications as a proof of their knowledge apart from their experience as they want to make doubly sure before they spend even a single penny.

If looked with the perspective of people who are loosing jobs and fresh job seekers, they have a good opportunity at hand. What they need to do is choose a business domain and first increase their knowledge levels in that and then see where all the back operations can be automated and for doing that what all technologies are available in the market. Firstly, an analysis needs to be done on the cost effectiveness and depending on that they should than decide to learn and go ahead with an open source solution or to go ahead with a solution being provided by the major software vendor’s like Microsoft, Sun, SAP and etc.

Once they decide the domain and the technology they need to first go through the available material increase their knowledge levels and the get technically certified. The whole process may take more than 6 months but it is worth it.
