MonaVie launched in January 2005 and markets a functional health beverage made primarily from the Acai Berry fruit. MonaVie offers a home business opportunity by selling or marketing their MonaVie Juice product through MLM or multilevel-marketing.
2.) MonaVie Juice
The MonaVie products are formulated with one main ingredient, the Acai Berry. There are also 19 other fruit juices that are blended to increase the product’s taste. As has become the case with several other “super juices”, there are testimonials from people who have used the product. Testimonials have come in reference to headaches, arthritis, and other inflammation based conditions.
3.) Compensation Plan
The Mona Vie business plan is designed as a binary comp plan. The company pays out 50% of commissionable volume. One plus to the pay plan is that you only have to build 2 legs rather than 3 or 4 to be paid commissions. An example of the binary comp plan is that if you have $25,000 volume in one leg and $15,000 in the other, your commissions will be paid out on the lesser $15,000 leg.
The binary compensation plan is simple and easy to understand comparatively to other MLM compensation plans. This is because one only has to sponsor 2 people to be successful and have the opportunity to earn a substantial income.
In conclusion, MonaVie is not a scam. They seem to have a solid product and the comp plan is simple and fair. However, the main Mona Vie complaints are the competition. Their are so many “super” juices being marketed currently through MLM that the market is very competitive. You are likely to have more success with a unique product that is different from what every other MLM company is marketing.
