If You Quit Because You’re Afraid To Lose…That’s Irony.

by Mr WebbyFied

When building a business, online or otherwise, there will likely be many instances in which you want to quit. The problem with that is the “logic” that usually inspires it.

Much of the time, people think about quitting because they do not want to lose. They quit because they DO NOT want to fail. Can you see the irony?

Quitting because you don’t want to fail is like jumping into a pool because you don’t want to get wet.

If you quit, all you are doing is guaranteeing the failure of any effort you have given up until now. Whatever you have done, and whatever money you’ve spent, will all be in vain.

You must not quit and expect that things will get any better, and, if you actually do, I’m here right now to tell that they won’t.

When the possibility of giving up creeps into your mind, give consideration to all of the things you have had to sacrifice until this point. Give yourself a reminder of how much you’ve done to make this idea a reality. If you haven’t done much, and you can see that you can’t possibly win, quitting at the beginning is fine, but if you’ve given up more than you can remember, things that you can never get back, it is already too late.

You have to see this through. Giving up when you have pretty much nothing else to lose won’t benefit you in any way, whatsoever. You’ll feel worse than you did before you gave up, and giving up will only make you weaker in character.

You have to be willing to stay focused on your objective, and promise that you’ll get there, no matter how long it is going to take, and if you are unsuccessful, at least you will have really tried.

Don’t lose, don’t fail, because you stepped off the field before the game was even half over.
