It’s Not Your Fault That You Are Afraid To Join GRN

People who own their own businesses radiate confidence, wealth, and just can’t hide their free spirits. They don’t punch a clock and don’t answer to anyone but themselves. We see them behind the wheels of their fancy cars and living in those big houses and think: “sure, he can afford those things-he owns his own business” and business must be booming.

But why, if we know that owning your own business is the only true way to be successful and self-reliant are we so scared to take even consider building our own?

Think that isn’t true? Ask some of your friends to go into business with you as partners-but be prepared to hear all of the excuses why they can’t. And be prepared to hear them tell you exactly why your business is going to fall on its face even though they have no experience running a business and probably don’t even know anybody who does.

Why are we so frightened to trust ourselves? Why do we see failure as the only possible outcome? Have we been conditioned to be timid?

It’s a complicated question with a complicated answer. Let’s break it down.

The entire concept of our education, known as The Prussian System, is training, including skills and the mindset that a student receives in order to become an employee.

We learn in school and in life in general that we have to fit in, and to do that we need jobs. So we find one, slave away for peanuts, and hope that we won’t have to leach off our children when we retire forty or fifty years down the road.

We are taught that the only way available to us to express ourselves is to become somebody else’s worker, to be dependent on somebody and to be reworded in life for satisfying somebody else.

We are taught that the only option for us to work for someone else and do so happily for a pat on the back and a handful of cash, totally forgetting our own dignity!

Remember, when you were a kid, you were planning on becoming either an astronaut or a captain or a jet-pilot? So, how did you end up becoming an office worker or an insurance salesman?

We forget our dreams because we are repeatedly reminded that they are impractical. How can we make money doing those things? How can we support our families? How can we be productive members of society?

And when we do find ourselves stuck in a job we don’t like, we see our only option is to endure the endless days and boredom while grumbling under our breath or to our fellow co-workers around the water cooler. Do you want your children to follow in those footsteps?

It’s the sort of behavior we learned from our parents and it’s the behavior you’ll be passing on to your kids and your grandchildren if you don’t find the courage to put a stop to the cycle and turn your future around.

By turning things around I mean becoming your own boss and regaining control of your future!

Scary thought, isn’t it? Of course it is but that’s only because you’ve never done anything like that before. You’ve never thought about becoming a businessperson.

Those fears are doubled when the business is an Internet-based one. Are the good things you hear all exaggeration? Are the bad things all true?

That’s where we retreat into our own little “comfort zones.”

How do we learn anything?

We learn by repeatition, just like when you were learning to write. Remember? It was hard to begin with but now you don’t even think about it.

Any new skill is learned that way, no matter what it is.

Through repetition you become who you are as well.

If every aspect of your job makes you cringe: going in early, staying late, putting up with bad situations and garbage from your boss and co-workers-you’re not alone! You say to yourself that things are only temporary, that’ll you find something better, but it never does.

One day you realize that you’ve become a typical representative of people of your occupation: a guy driving particular car, eating particular food, dressing at a particular store, the guy whose income level is whatever it is, $45,000 a year, plus or minus 10 – 15%.

Repetition teaches us the thoughts and actions that define who we are and separates the aspects of our lives in familiar and unfamiliar.

The former will feel comfortable and friendly, and the latter will cause your brain to give you a burst of adrenalin, letting you know that you are stepping out of your comfort zone.

A minuscule amount of adrenalin can change the way you think and act. Don’t let a chemical choose your destiny!

Tony Robbins once said that “it’s in the moment of making a decision when the destiny is formed.”

But that adrenalin in your bloodstream won’t let you make any decisions that would lead to any significant change. The chemical is released when you’re confronted with something new and makes you feel uncomfortable, jittery, and unsure of yourself. You’ll do almost anything to make the feeling go away and the easiest way to do that is to stay stuck in the same old routines.

And everyone you know will help you stay on that familiar track.

Your income is an average income of seven of your closest friends. Look around yourself: you don’t hang out with anybody making significantly less than you, because you don’t quite understand their lifestyle, and you don’t hang around people making significantly more than you because you don’t have anything in common either.

So, ask any of your friends (who is working 9 to 5 and making $45,000 a year) advise about starting a home based business and making a six-figure income. What kind of opinions do you think you will hear? You know it, “It’s not going to work!”

And you will gladly use their opinion to justify your decision. It’s much easier for you to continue doing what you are doing, even though you don’t like it and deep inside you feel that you deserve a better life and more money.

Thich Nhat Hanh wrote something hundreds of years ago but he could just as well have written them today: “people are having a hard time letting go of their suffering. Out of fear of the unknown they prefer suffering that is familiar.” Sound a little bit like you?

So, there you are, after having heard about Global Resorts Network, after having watched numerous testimonials, after having studied everything about this business, you are still sitting there and worrying: “What if I still don’t know something, what if there is something I need to find out before I get started, what if, what if, what if”

Listen to this.

Leading up to my tournament debut, I spoke with my Tae Kwon Do coach, Master Shilkaitis, and said: “I want to compete but I don’t think I’m ready yet.” He answered that “you will never feel that you are one hundred percent ready. It’s just a matter of finding the strength and desire to win and overcoming your fear!” Truer words were never spoken.

I took a third place for a spectacular knock-out with a round house kickto the head. It doesn’t happen even in the black belt category every day. I was so frightened, that I still don’t remember how it happened!

Having me talk to you all day won’t do any good. Either you will decide to take the next step or you will fall back into your old comfortable ways and never stray outside your comfort zone.

Nothing will change on its own! If you continue doing what you’ve been doing, you will continue getting the results you’ve been getting!

Choose to change today!

You’ll be scared and there will be bumps in the road but you’ll never know just how high you can truly fly unless you get off the ground.

To get everything you deserve you have to change the way you are doing things. Make the decision today and choose your destiny.

Maybe the next time you hear someone’s jealous remarks about being able to afford those fancy things, they’ll be talking about you!
