How often should I backup my data file?
You should backup your data file every day. Depending on the size of your data file, you may or may not be able to save it to a floppy disk. If the file becomes too large to fit on a floppy, you should either save it to another computer on your network (if you’re running a network), or save it to a zip drive. Create multiple locations for your backup data file and rotate where you save your data file. If you need to transfer your database to another computer, you’ll need to Backup your database on the existing computer, and then Restore the database on the new computer.
