Repossession hit me hard.
what is repossession? Its when someone comes and takes away all your material possessions bit by bit, slowly killing you outside in. I used to think it was getting possessed by something again! Its not. However just as scary.
I had recently come across some bad luck. With the credit crunch taking its toll on lives around the island, and the loss of my job as a result, I was left at a bit of a loose end. I have recently been released from the big house, thus rendering me almost unemployable.
the company I was working for had been hit hard, they were stung financially and had to let go of such luxuries as cleaners. Who happened to be the cleaner for them? Me. How and where would I get a job from now?
A month after my redundancy I still had no luck in getting a steady income. One cannot live on the JSA of 60 every 2 weeks! I decided to do a little moonlighting on the side, odd jobs here and there, and cash in hand, couldn’t hurt could it?
Some low life reported me for benefit fraud, this meant more debt and fines to payback. I was in a lot of trouble.
One Monday morning (why are Mondays the gloomiest days?) a letter dropped on my porch floor, they were going to repossess my house! I had neglected to respond to their previous repossession letters and failed to pay monies owed.
My only option was to resort to crime, but I had done that previously, got the t-shirt, and look where I had ended up? A good Samaritan came to my rescue and told me about cash for houses.

My neighbour put me up, gave me food and even a job in his company! He showed me that crime should never be an option and to always stay true to yourself, be honest and live life to the max.
