Liberty League International What to Know Before You Invest
Liberty League, if you go on the internet and look for a home based business, chances are you’ve come across Liberty League International. Is it all its hype up to be or is it , a really flawed program which happens to be over-hyped? As someone who has been involved in Liberty League International for almost a year, I feel that I am qualified to speak to these issues.
The entry level product is “Beyond Freedom” which is a 90 day personal development course. It consists of a workbook, journal, dvd, 3 cd’s. wristband, goal cards, two pens and a pad of sticky notes which have beyond freedom on them. The retail price is $1,495.00 plus $30.00 shipping. The company gets $495.00 plus the $30.00 shipping and your sponsor gets $1,000.00 “profit. Is it worth the price? You can do a lot of “personal development” for $1,5200.00 and you can learn from the best.
The compensation plan which is hyped to be “second to none” in the home business industry does offer high “profits” but the business model is an Australian 2-up. In this structure you’ll be required to pass-up your first two “training sales” to your adviser. Be careful here, as they will tell you “you simply pass up your first two sales but everyone you sponsor will in lturn pass up two sales to you, and those two will pass up two more and so on and so on. Yeah right! Do yourself a favor and Google Australian 2 up and read the facts.
Another important aspect of the compensation plan and business model is that your adviser will probably lose interest in helping you after you have passed up your two “training sales”. Why? They will no longer have a vested interest in your business, as a matter of fact, you will now be in direct competition with them. This means that any new marketing secret that they learn might not be shared.
If you want to earn the really BIG BUCKS, you’ll have to invest REALLY BIG BUCKS, and you are encouraged to do so from the moment you join, its called “capitalizing your business”. Just so you understand, you’ve just invested $1,495.00 plus $30.00 shipping or $1,525.00 for an overpriced personal development course, and now its time to step up and invest an additional $7,995.00 for a three day personal development conference, but wait, that’s not all, you should also invest $12,995.00 for the five day conference so you can earn “profits” on three day and five day conference ticket purchases which will be made by your associates in the future.
The process can be somewhat confusing. First you hear that you can start this home based business opportunity for only $1,495.00 and the next thing you know you learn that in order to earn like the champions you’ll have to capitalize your business with another $20,990.00. The business model is also somewhat complex because your adviser must have four people on their register after you purchase either the Liberty or Summit Conference tickets in order for you to “qualify for profit” If they are not actively marketing, which many are not, you’ll have to pass up these sales in order to qualify yourself. This means that you’ll also be passing up as much as $65,000.00 in total “profits” to your adviser. How does that sit with you?
Please, whatever you do don’t just take my word for any of this, do some research on your own. Google “Australian 2-up” and you’ll find a lot of information about the compensation plan, you can even scroll down and see where a class action lawsuit was filed against Liberty League International recently. Google “Liberty League International”, and scroll down to the “Ripoff Report”. And then after you’ve done your due diligence, make your decision.
