Gamers who indulge in World of Warcraft have plenty of reasons to continue playing, but seem to always be looking for more; more weapons, spells, quests, classes, world areas, dungeons and gear.

Yet still players are constantly looking for more, and this is the reason game developers are always adding new content to WoW in the way of expansion packs. Literally new chapters to the game, expansion packs are installed and played in conjunction with the original game.

The newest expansion set to release for the game, World of Warcraft:Wrath of the Lich King, offers a whole new breed of character. The expansion pack allows players to buy death knight capabilities, the only new hero class planned for the expansion

When players buy death knight capabilities, they still have to work to unlock the class. Only when a player has an existing level 55 character will the death knight be unlocked. Once the death knight is unlocked, players can create one character per realm. However, creating a death knight is only the first step-next, players must learn to master their new death knights.

Death knights use a rune system instead of the familiar way spells are currently used in game. Death knights are expected to be useful in group situations like in dungeons and during raids, and offer a new learning curve even for the most experienced WoW players.

While players may think twice before investing additional money to buy death night capabilities in the game, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and all it offers is definitely worth the money, and gamers shouldn’t hesitate.
