Christian Success and Christian Home Business Part 1
Business success, is this for the Christian Home Business person? When approaching your business who gets the Glory. Do you boast in yourself or Glorify in the blessings of the Lord praising Him for giving you stewardship over a successful business.
Your Christian Home Business belongs to God and not that of yourself. He has blessed you with the gifts that are necessary to create success in your Christian Business. It is important to always keep a close eye on the condition of your heart. Often the personal growth and development within a home business can cause pride and self exultation.
Luke 2:49 Jesus said, “Why were you searching for Me? Didn’t you know that I must be about my Fathers business?” We as well are called into our Chrisitan Home Business and are to be about Our Fathers business. Believers in Christ must remember that we are to use our businesses as well as our lives to Glorify God as we go about the Fathers business.
Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and Glorify your Father in Heaven.” What a principle to take into your home business and how contrary is this to the world? Jesus, said that we are to let our light shine so that our Father in Heaven receives the Glory! Not that we get the Glory but that He receives it. Success in the business world just as success in your marriage, your ministry, your church, your family as well as all successes in life should be rooted in a foundation that Glorifies God for that Success.
What are you doing with the resources of your business? The Lord has blessed us as Christian Business owners with the responsibility of stewardship. Remember that property ownership and stewardship was ordained by God. He blesses us with what we can be stewards of in our business as well as in our lives. Take note of your heart as you continue to build your business and determine your goals.
