A Review of Global Resorts Network

by Cathy Yeatts

If you are interested in having your own home-based travel industry business, you have no doubt checked out various options, such as Coastal, YTB and Traverus, to name a few. My personal choice was Global Resorts Network, due to the superior product and compensation structure.

According to a report by the Travel Industry Association (tia.org), 740 billion dollar »”>billion dollars were spent inside the US alone by domestic and foreign travelers, in the year 2007. Worldwide, travel spending is estimated at 7 trillion dollars each year! The travel industry, no doubt, is big business.

The Global Resorts membership gives you access to over 5,000 luxury resorts, all over the world for a one-time enrollment fee. There are no recurring annual maintenance fees, and no blackouts or limitations on when and where you can travel. Simply choose your destination, book and confirm your reservation and pay the deeply discounted rate, which is currently $299-$799 per week.

Typically, your Global Resorts membership costs will be 40%-75% less than prices on major travel sites, such as Orbitz and Expedia. GRN also has a professional and courteous customer service call center to assist you with reservations. This is not a voucher system. You will choose the date and property, make the reservation and pay, just like with any other travel provider.

Some people mistakenly think that GRN is a time-share membership. It is not. In fact, if you have ever owned a time share, you will appreciate the flexibility, lower cost and convenience of purchasing travel in this way.

There are two different membership levels with Global Resorts, making it affordable for most family budgets. The Gold membership, at $1495 (one time fee), gives you a full three years of unlimited access. The Platinum membership grants lifetime access; the cost is $2995.

The Global Resorts business opportunity is an option for anyone that purchases a Gold or Platinum membership.

As a GRN affiliate, you can earn $500 commissions for Gold memberships and $1,000 commissions for Platinum memberships. There are bonus overrides also built into the compensation plan. This is not an Aussie ‘two up’ plan. You will pass up your first commission to your sponsor, but all subsequent commissions will belong to you.

The brilliant key in the compensation plan is this first commission roll up. This motivates every sponsor to assist the new members in making sales. Sponsors have no incentive to ‘take the money and run’. It’s a win/win situation.

You can plug immediately into one or more approved GRN marketing systems, such as Truth to Wealth, Global Pro Builder or GRN BizBuilder. These all require monthly fees. Or, you can use the default corporate GRN site and be up and running very quickly.
