Choosing a 27 inches or even larger televisions are the order of the day. It’s not true that the larger the picture the more cinema like it appears. This can be true in some cases but before buying you must consider a lot many things.
The size of the room in which you are planning to place your home theater system can help determine what size screen you should get. As a general rule the larger the set the more room you need to allow to create the proper viewing distance between you and the television. This can also be a good choice for your home theater, the other choices being a rear projection TV, which includes the LCD display, the flat panel TV with either LCD or plasma display, or the rear projection TV which requires a separate movie screen.
Choose a television which receives a digital signal – not an analog. Digital signals are progressively scanned which provides a higher picture resolution. Such a set will be simple to locate as the United States is changing its broadcasting format from analog to digital and televisions are being manufactured with this in mind. The highest quality digital signal is known as HDTV. You must purchase a compatible set in order to get this extra resolution but these are the most expensive televisions. You can invest in an HDTV-ready television for your home theater system and upgrade later
