An Environmental Ethic For Man

I believe the main challenge to environmentalism would be to get the majority of persons to care about what exactly is happening to our environment. The strategy to do this can be by tying environmentalism to economics. Presently there\’s really little economic importance placed on preserving our environment. For example, power companies do not factor in the costs of pollution clean up into their costs. There are many steps we can take to tie environmentalism to the economy which includes government subsidies, eco-taxes, and setting caps on pollution and making markets exactly where it could be traded. I will use the book, a case from Taking Sides, and Power down to make this case.
