Dogs bark. It doesn\’t take a genius to know that this is how they communicate – with their fellow dogs, other animals, and humans. When dogs bark, they may be calling out to a dog of the opposite sex, eager for attention and a chance at mating. They may be chasing off a cat, a rat or some other pest in the area. Or they may be warning their owner that there is a stranger outside.
