To add to the range of Microsoft online training courses available today, we now have access in the UK to Microsoft training on interactive discs with 24 hour online assistance.

Which course will be right for you depends on which area of IT you’re interested in. Look for a company with a team of advisors who will use their experience of the industry to help you work out which area is the most suitable for you.

Advisors can help you by looking at your current skills and knowledge to ascertain where your training needs to start. They’ll also be able to assess your aptitude for the work you’re interested in.

State-of-the-art training is presented in a stimulating and practical manner. Students learn by watching and listening to videos of instructors teaching and demonstrating what to do. They then practice what they’ve learned in interactive labs.

Learning in this manner is extremely comfortable for students. Sitting at your PC, you can benefit from the knowledge of instructors teaching you personally, as if one-on-one. You hear their message, and then watch it being demonstrated.

Any challenges? …Just back-up and go through it again. Then it’s your turn – to have a go yourself in cutting-edge interactive labs.

Training like this really gets you involved with the subject. Using interactive CD/DVD ROMS means that you can study anywhere, without the need for internet access and potential challenges with large file downloads. Even though you have interactivity with the software, you don’t need to install it onto your computer.

Look for a learning program that’s fully supported, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, via an online support system. This will be done from several offices placed in different time zones around the world so there’s always a mentor ready to help you solve your challenge at whatever time you’re studying.

It’s not good enough for companies to offer assistance that’s restricted to office hours in the UK. Beware of those who say they offer 24/7 support, but actually will have to get back to you if you contact them in the evenings or at weekends. Stop/start studying just doesn’t work!

When it comes to preparing for exams, you need a training package that includes Microsoft authorised exam preparation software. Being an American company, Microsoft exams have a very American style, which UK applicants need to get used to. Only simulations of the real thing are acceptable.
