In order to identify who does article marketing, we must first define what article marketing is. Article Marketing as defined by Wikipedia is “a type of advertising in which businesses write<\/a> short articles<\/a> related to their respective industry. These articles are made available for distribution and publication in the marketplace. Each article contains a bio box and byline that include references and contact information for the author’s business. Well-written content articles released for free distribution have the potential of increasing the authoring business’ credibility within its market as well as attracting new clients.”<\/p>\n

Article Marketers are individuals, companies, bloggers<\/a>, writers<\/a> and webmasters. They are simply smart business people who comprehend the need to make sure that their name and their product is known by as many potential buyers and business contacts as possible.<\/p>\n

A very good illustration of article marketing is Yahoo.com. Yahoo displays some great articles that discuss numerous products, issues and news<\/a> stories. A closer inspection of the links and articles will reveal that most of them are some form of advertising.<\/p>\n

Other great examples of Article Marketers are the Vacation Rentals and the Time Share industries. With the Internet they are able to post articles that talk<\/a> about their business and the properties they have for rent or for sale. They can flood numerous websites and blogs<\/a> with links to all their offerings.<\/p>\n

Bloggers are the latest fad to come out in the last few years. For example, the World of Warcraft game has grown a tremendous following since it is a virtual world evolving on its own. The game continues to be played at all times. It has a vast following of loyal fans and numerous fan web sites to help promote the game.<\/p>\n

The genius of this is that Blizzard who produces the game gets free advertisement, links to their sight and self promotion from dedicated fans who blog about the game. Think about, instead of spending money on marketing everything themselves, they have their dedicated fan base do it for free. This is an ultimate example of successful Article Marketing.<\/p>\n

Dell computers is the last prime example of who uses Article Marketing. It seems these days I cannot go anywhere on the web without seeing an article about Dell, or a link to a deal that Dell is offering somewhere. Each article is a well crafted marketing tool.<\/p>\n

Who is an Article Marketer? Once again the best answer to that question is smart business people. In this day and age, your business is nothing if your name is not well known. Get your name out there on a few well-written articles and just watch your sales grow.<\/p>\n
