Ever heard of manuscripts that are like faithful dogs? No matter where you send them, they come back to you, usually with a polite – if you’re lucky – note saying that what you sent is not exactly what the publishing house is looking for. But, by all means, they say, keep writing.

Somebody must have gone through this one too many times when the bright idea of blogging popped up in his head! The easy way of eliminating editors – though plotting their demise is more enjoyable in many cases – was finally discovered. Get a blog, write on anything under the sun, in this or any other galaxy, and nobody can tell you not to.

What you write about is your own decision and whether it’s to describe a lovely sunrise, an incident the day before or just something else, you are free to express yourself in any way you like.

The very best part, though, is that you can find plenty of people who have an opinion on what you write about, even if you decide, for some reason, to write about Latin phrasebooks. It follows that no matter what you have an opinion on, you can easily find a blog about it, where you can agree or disagree.

What’s more, blogging can be profitable too. A few readers and a link here and there brings you web traffic and that gradually builds up to give you an income potential through pay per click ads placed within your blog page. So, you can write about what you love and get paid for it too.

Among the many common themes used for blogging, how-to blogs take a high position. There’s always someone who can tell you what to do about something, whether it’s a situation, household need, hobby or whatever it is. There are also those who dedicate their time to delve into the weirder side of living and dig up various tid-bits of weird news to throw out your boredom.

There are many web sites that write about the lifestyle and fashion trends. These give loads of tips to the people even if they are not really required or they are useless. Try blogging about the TV shows. There are several bloggers who watch the TV shows just to write reviews about them.

Blogs are for people who want to write and share whatever they know, either for their own gains or just for the sake of commenting on what others have written. So keep blogging and enjoy the fun everyday.
