The other day a person asked me a very important question. The guy was looking to establish a joint venture partnership with other fellows, he had found on article directories but he was a bit confused because on article directories you can find all sorts of people and not all of them are worth dealing with. So, this article is the response to his question how to find suitable partners on article directories. <\/p>\n

He was right to be cautious. The key to successfully dealing with people on article directories is to create your own filtering rules, which can help you sort out the people who you think are worth working with from the people who aren’t. As a rule, there are a couple of factors I take into consideration when choosing partners that way. First, does the message of the person send good vibes or not? Second, is he or she suitable for a long-term partner? <\/p>\n

Long-term cooperation is what interests me. I don’t look for short relationships<\/a> because I hate when we are together for a few weeks and then everything is over. Long-term cooperation is what matters for me most. Besides, I always dig to see if the people, who I am considering as potential partners have experience – i.e. if they have had past partnerships and if they did – how was it? I sometimes even get in touch with former partners of the people I am interested in doing business with. <\/p>\n

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by a very well-know marketer. He wanted me to be an affiliate manager for him. The first thing I did after our first conversation was over was to contact an acquaintance I knew had worked with him in the past. My acquaintance told me many things about my potential partner and this information was more than useful to me. <\/p>\n

In addition to past experience, another importan filtering criterion is how your potential partners market to their customers. Join their list and you will learn the answer. You will also learn how they communicate with their subscribers. Joining their list will send you vibes, so you will know how you feel about them – do you like them or not. <\/p>\n

Also, I can offer one more idea. Well, maybe it goes too far but if you want to make a reliable test, become a customer of your potential partner. The experience as a customer is valuable because it tells you a lot about the people whom you are dealing with. <\/p>\n

A good way to see a potential JV’s conversion is to join their affiliate program because you can see exactly how many people you send to their website and how many people buy. So you could see if it is a good selling product just by becoming an affiliate of them and then marketing their own product.<\/p>\n
