The Xbox 360 has quickly become one of the best-selling video game systems ever released. If you are a lucky owner, I want to show you an easy way to find new games and movies by using Xbox 360 downloads.

It seems to be a common question that we receive these days – ‘How do I download Xbox 360 games?’ We thought it would be a good idea to cover the different options you have so you can start downloading games for your Xbox 360 right away.

Option #1 – XBOX 360 Game Downloads

You first option is to search for “free xbox game downloads” and see what you can find. There are some websites that advertise having free downloads for the xbox and other systems. However, there are a few things you need to know before you press that ‘download now’ button.

Recently, a number of these websites have been shut down because they were spreading both viruses and spyware. You can’t ever be sure that what you are downloading is actually a legitimate game file. These websites are not monitored by anyone and get loaded with infected files that can cause damage to your computer.

Another annoying thing about these websites is that the download speeds are incredibly slow. It’s not unusual to wait well over a day just for one file to finish downloading.

Even worse, many of the files are “corrupt”, which means that they don’t actually work. It’s a big pain in the ‘you know what’ to wait over a day for a game to finish downloading only to find out it doesn’t even work.

We just don’t see the point of using these websites. You can put your computer at risk and waste your time all at the same time.

Option #2 – XBOX 360 Downloads

This next option lets you download Xbox 360 games without having to worry about viruses, slow download speeds or download files that don’t work.

Because Xbox 360 downloads have become so popular, there are now websites that are run specifically for people looking to download games, movies and music for their system. These websites offer memberships that let you login and download any game you want by using their customized program. The cost is about $50 and you will only be charged this once for a lifetime membership (some will charge a monthly fee – stay away from these).

A membership costs less than the price of most games and lets you download as many xbox 360 games as you want. The selection of games and movies is huge. There are new releases along with games that you may not find any longer in the stores.

Obviously the companies that put together these xbox 360 download websites are hoping to make a profit, so they do what it takes to keep their customers happy. They invest money in the software to make sure the downloads are fast, the games are always up to date and that every single game you download will actually work on your system.

At the bottom of this article you will find a link you can use to learn how to get a free trial at a couple of the most popular xbox 360 download websites. It takes about 5-10 to setup and all the software you need to use the games on your xbox is included.

There has been a steady increase in the number of people using xbox 360 downloads and I can only imagine that this number will continue to grow as more people become aware of this type of service. It’s definately a lot cheaper than buying new games at the store.

Once you start using Xbox 360 downloads you can quickly build up a massive library of games and movies for your system. A word of caution though – it’s highly addictive! Happy gaming!
