You may have already started working as an affiliate marketer and you would like to make some real money with your affiliate sites. However, you may feel a bit frustrated at some point. This is because you may find it you cannot really make sales with your site.<\/p>\n

At this point you may just want to give up. However, have you tested different ways to promote the products? Before you really give up, you should try to read the following tips first. You will need to tune your affiliate site before you say that affiliate marketing does not work for you.<\/p>\n

Do you use banners in your affiliate websites? If you use them, you would better take them away and try to use things such as plain texts to substitute the banners. Banners do not work. Will you click the banners when you are visiting other websites? If you will not do so, why the visitors to your sites will do it! <\/p>\n

Another thing you need to bear in mind is that the products you are promoting should be related to the main theme of your affiliate site. You should promote wedding products in wedding sites. It will not work if you promote them in a health site. If the theme of your site does not match the products you are promoting, you should try to start a site with a theme which matches the products.<\/p>\n

Remember, you should never try to sell the affiliate products in your affiliate sites. You are only trying to arouse the interest of your visitors and click through the affiliate links. You will only pre sell the visitors. This is a mistake a lot of marketers make.<\/p>\n

In order to start your affiliate sites quickly, you will be using the resources from the affiliate programs. You can get things such as articles<\/a>, banners and website templates from the programs. However, you should never use them. Taking the articles for example, you will need to rewrite them yourself so that you will be able to make the articles unique. Duplicated contents can harm your search engine ranking.<\/p>\n

If it is possible, you should try to promote a few similar products in your affiliate site. If you have a weight loss site, you may want to promote different kinds of weight loss products in your site. It is usually suggested that you promote four to five products in one site. <\/p>\n

There is no doubt that affiliate marketing works! However, if you keep making mistakes and do not learn from them, you will never be able to make real money in this field of business. So, you should prepare to learn!<\/p>\n
