So many people have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.meyouworld.net\/EG\/tag\/Credit_Cards.html\" class=\"kblinker\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"More about Credit &raquo;\">credit<\/a> card or other debt and these price increases are not leaving much to pay the debts off with at the end of the month.<\/p>\n<p>Managing your creditors can help you avoid getting yourself into a financial slump, or worse, filing for bankruptcy. By managing your creditors, you can keep on top of who you owe, and exactly how much, and break down how much you can afford to pay to each creditor.<\/p>\n<p>To figure out how much you can afford to pay each creditor you need to start with how much money you are brining in.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.articlepower.org\" class=\"kblinker\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"More about Write &raquo;\">Write<\/a> down exactly what you are spending your money on each month.  You can use this information to create a budget.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, the most important bills should be paid first: food, electricity, and shelter. When the basics are accounted for, add up the total that you owe each of your creditors. Figure out what the minimum monthly payment is for each debt that you owe. This is the next thing that needs to come out of your budget.<\/p>\n<p>Now each debt will be at least kept up-to-date. Identify the smallest debt and use any extra money in your budget to pay this debt off. As soon as this smallest debt is paid in full, begin focusing money on the next smallest debt.<\/p>\n<p>If you continue paying this way, eventually all of your debts will be paid off. If you keep careful track of your budget you will be able to pay for the things you must have and pay off your debt as well.<\/p>\n<p>There are many websites devoted to budgeting and financial planning. If you are having trouble creating a budget look on the internet for some help with this.It is also possible that your local bank or your employer offer budgeting assistance.<\/p>\n<p>If your bank offers online banking that can be a very useful tool in avoiding late fees or forgetting to pay a bill.
