The humble business cards have been around for a long time and have can be found amongst all sorts of business people. Trade cards as they used to be know as were also acted as a type of advertising and map to direct customers to there merchant store. Today business card is something that every business man has on hand as it still is an important marketing tool.<\/p>\n

Your card is a powerful tool. Your business cards needs to be designed in such a way as to provide your name, address, contact numbers and list the services you provide in a well designed eye catching way.<\/p>\n

If including a photo on your card try to use glossy paper as to ensure once it is printed, the card looks as good it did when you saw it on the computer. If you yourself are disappointed with the end result can you expect your clients not to be.<\/p>\n

When designing your card if you plan on including background colour or images make sure that all images and text, is at least 3mm from the edge of the card. Or that the papers you use has allows for gaps between the cards as this will make up for the unavoidable elusiveness printer paper system. Be warned of printer imprecision’s which can destroy the look of your card and you will have to start from the beginning again.<\/p>\n

Time for printing, check that the paper your have selected is compatible to your printer, ink jet and laser printers use different types therefore it is important that you only use the paper that has been recommended for your printer.<\/p>\n

You could also include your business card with your invoices or out going correspondence, or you could be real crafty and include the business card design on greeting cards or stamps, indeed there are many different ways to get your business card seen by as many people as possible.<\/p>\n

Your business card can be your best salesman and partner, always have a few on hand as you never know where your next customer is going to come from, you need to know how to utilize these possibility to your advantage.<\/p>\n
