by Rob Metras

Since hundred of years articles were not considered at all important in news and literature, but today the whole scenario has changed.Articles play a very important role for today’s world especially for newspapers, blogs etc.Article writing is simple and even fun if one follows some basic rules and ones career will blossom in any field of literature.

I will mainly focus on writing and editing of blogs especially for internet purposes. The few tips that i will provide will surely improve your article writing skills. You must first have an idea about the topic and then choose the topic.

While writing on a topic which has no knowledge about the topic you must search the internet well before starting.Learn as much as possible, collect information and then implement them. You can refer links if you want. However you must not copy others article because this is not correct.

when you have collected all the information in the world then start your article. You must be as concise, and descriptive as possible.write an article such that eve a person who has no idea in the world about the topic must get a very good idea about the topic.

Well, you’ve done it. You have successfully written an entire article, and have done so without sounding like an idiot. But you’re not done yet. You have to take into account the reason that you’ve written the article in the first place. If you wrote the article by your own will, or for your own enjoyment, then you have nothing to worry about. But if you are writing the article for someone else to use, you have to make sure that you follow all of their specifications. You are, after all, providing them with a service, and why would they value something that is not satisfactory? Always make sure that you know, in full, the mission that your article is to carry out. It is your silent seller.

Something that a lot of people seem to have problems with, especially today, is editing. Editing consists of, not only making changes to the above statement, but also checking for spelling, grammar, and content. It doesn’t matter how much you know about the subject matter, if you can’t spell, or lack correct punctuation, you run the risk of not being taken seriously. Although it can be frustrating, it is essential that you run a spell check, and proofread the article for mistakes in grammar before it is published. Besides spelling and grammar, the article also has to checked for content. This means, reading through the article carefully and making sure that everything makes sense. Even with correct punctuation, some statements don’t make as much sense written as they do when spoken aloud. You can usually spot these by, go figure, reading the article aloud.

Another, albeit, optional part of the development of an article for non web is to include photos. Photographs provided in an article should be relavent to the subject of the article. Photos represent a problem generally in web applications and are not accepted by the top article directories such as Ezine articles.

Writing articles for any reason can be, not only fun, but one of the simplest ways to get a point across. With these tips, a little knowledge, and a lot of determination, you could essentially write an article about anything. Articles have been around for years, and are sure to be around for years to come, and you can be a part of the worldwide movement that is Literature.
