Accepted range of incandescent light bulbs, with the wattage between 60 to 150 are used by many offices. There are some work places which may have 3 layer system of lighting. They have the option of using bulbs like the ones used at home but with different wattages for soft to brilliant light. Fluorescent tubes offer a full range of light and are soothing for the eyes and there are some offices which use then for lighting the place.<\/p>\n

Fluorescent bulbs which consume energy efficiently are also used in offices. They are screwed in a similar way like the common bulb but are made in a coiled tube style. These bulbs are very useful for saving energy and can be obtained in 15 watts.<\/p>\n

There are some workplaces who think that fluorescent lights are unhealthy for the staff and have changed over. In fact the UV exposure from fluorescent lighting is much less than from the natural light according to some studies. You can use low-UV light bulbs in the office in case you are more sensitive to light. These lights do not break easily and they also obstruct ultraviolet emission.<\/p>\n

You can try the lighting which is more energy efficient in case the workplace is still having previous fluorescent tube lighting system. Magnetic ballasts are used in them which waste a lot of energy. It is important for the offices to change over to light bulbs which are more energy efficient as per law.<\/p>\n

As it is fluorescent tube lights which have magnetic ballasts will be out of circulation by 2010 and all the offices will have to think of lighting their premises with more energy competent lighting systems.<\/p>\n
