If thinking about buying a condominium in New York we take a quick look at what each borough has to offer you.<\/p>\n

The Bronx This is a neighborhood largely consisting of Puerto Ricans and Dominicans. But this is the perfect place for those who like off-off Broadway shows, who enjoy their baseball as this is where Yankee Stadium. Plus it has some wonderful outdoor spaces such as the Bronx Zoo and the New York Botanical Garden and one mustn’t forget the Bronx Museum of Art.<\/p>\n

However, you need to be aware that there may be certain internal ones that need to be adhered to as well. For example if you are considering having new flooring placed down if you intend to get wooden floors then you need to find out what insulation is required. Unfortunately the begin problem with wooden floors if not properly sound proofed as you walk across them the noise can carry through to your neighbors below. <\/p>\n

Also if you intend to make any major changes within the property with regards to its structure, along with getting the right building permissions from the local planning authority, you may need to obtain permission from the residents association as well. Unfortunately if you elect to do such work without getting the right permissions you may well find that the work will need to be undone so that the property can be returned to its original structure. <\/p>\n

Manhattan This borough is located in the very heart of New York and the cost of condominiums here are not cheap. But it is suitable for those whose work revolves around the financial and commercial industries.<\/p>\n

Staten Island Of all the boroughs that make up New York this one is the least populated and has a more suburban feel about it. The New York condominiums available here not only appeal to single people and couples, but families also as they allow easy access to the heart of the city. However, as this borough is not so well populated the prices of properties here may be relatively less than in the others.<\/p>\n
