Do you know that expression “love is blind”? Love is blind because when our emotions are so involved, our brain doesn’t always operate at maximum efficiency! Everyone has experienced that “head over heels” feeling, and it’s exhilarating! It’s like walking through air, being happy and feeling the exuberance of youth, all at the same time.<\/p>\n

You catch yourself grinning for no reason and you are so caught up in the private universe that you probably wouldn’t notice if everyone else on the planet disappeared. But do you know for sure whether that person is unattached? <\/p>\n

What phone number do they want you to use? Will they only volunteer their cell phone number? Have you been invited back to their place? Do they sometimes need to leave urgently when the two of you are doing something?<\/p>\n

Do you ever think that maybe they are not being completely open with you, when you take a few minutes to think about it? This is something that isn’t easy to deal with. The chance that the person could possibly be lying to you or even married already is something you just don’t want to think about. It happens to someone every day, though.<\/p>\n

If you are trying to decide whether to continue your relationship<\/a> with this person, you might want to watch out for certain behaviors. When you are talking on the phone or even when you are together, does it seem like they are distracted or pre-occupied with something else? Does it seem like they are always keeping an eye on the clock? Do they often have to leave suddenly when you are spending time together? If they are doing these things consistently, it might be because they are not being honest with you or their family and they are trying to juggle everything without either you or their family finding out the truth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Have you been introduced to his or her family? There is a good chance that they are really single if they want to introduce you to their parents, siblings, or other family members. You should proceed with caution, however, if some time has passed and they are still not showing any signs that they want you to meet their family.<\/p>\n

Another investigative step to take is doing a reverse phone number search online. Just enter their number and it will give you their address, or vice versa. You could learn information about them you didn’t know before, and you can also find out other tidbits about them.<\/p>\n

You’ll be able to locate certificates of marriage and divorce so that you know their marital status. Additional information such as criminal history is also available. You will get so much peace of mind from this easy step.<\/p>\n

If they have no spouse, chances are that they are simply afraid to commit or they have another reason for not wanting you to meet their family. You’ll at least have the peace of mind of knowing that you’re not a home wrecker. If you’re still uncertain, don’t just toss and turn at night wondering. Follow the steps above and finally find out for sure.<\/p>\n
