The cool nights and the sun setting sooner, is a tell tale sign of what is slowly coming to a end.We sit in the candle lit porch listening to the loons, the candles glowing, her suntan body stretched across mine, rocking on the porch swing, tired from our usual day of cruising the lake and finding places where the water is perfect to cool off from the heat of the day.<\/p>\n

I’m screaming inside, we live for those moments, those summer days and summer nights. She puts her arms around me, and says, “I know how you feel, our souls are alike. We just have to hang in there for a little while and, they’ll be back again.” I know, I whisper in her ear. We we’ll make the most of the fall as we usually do, and life moves on.<\/p>\n
