Did you achieve what you have today as a result of luck? According to Forbes Magazine, in a poll of the 400 richest<\/a> people in the world, none of them believed luck was responsible in their acquiring their wealth though a small percentage believed it was a minor factor.<\/p>\n

Unless you’ve won the lottery or were left a huge inheritance by a wealthy<\/a> aunt, odds are you’ve worked hard to get where you are. If you’re a student of mine, I am absolutely positive that you’ve put a lot of intention, energy, thought and work into your current situation.<\/p>\n

All that said, however, I believe wholeheartedly in the power of attracting what you want. I believe I am lucky. I wouldn’t say all of what I’ve achieved in life is a result of luck, by any stretch of the imagination, but I would say that I have noticed an increase in luck as I have begun to pay attention to it’s benefits and presence in my life. It’s like anything else, the more we use it, the more we enhance it, the more of it we will receive.<\/p>\n

After thousands of interviews and experiments, Richard Wiseman, head of the psychology department at the University of Hertfordshire in England, believes he has figured out what it is that makes some people lucky and other people not. It comes as no surprise to me that the same underlying theory behind the law of attraction comes into play with luck.<\/p>\n

Lucky people think and behave in ways that create more luck and good fortune in their lives. This is at their very core. This is the same way people who consider themselves money magnets, magnetize money or freak magnets, magnetize freaks. Whether conscious or subconsciously, they are absolutely attracting what they are putting out in the world.<\/p>\n

Playwright Tennessee Williams said it best, “Luck is believing you’re lucky.”<\/p>\n

The bible says, as you sow, so shall you reap. In other words, your thoughts, feelings, intentions, deeds, and expectations, whether they be good or bad, will repay you in kind. Have you ever heard anyone say, “I’ve never won anything. I’m simply not lucky”? This will remain the case because this person has made this state of mind their expectation.<\/p>\n

I find it interesting when I hear someone say, ‘I’m unlucky in love’. If only they knew. . . they’ll never be lucky in love if they continue to chant that mantra. If luck in love is what they want, they have to repeat to themselves that they are lucky from here on out.<\/p>\n

As I was researching the topic of love I came across a great blog<\/a> on the subject. “How to Be Lucky” at http:\/\/www.problogger.net\/archives\/2006\/03\/14\/how-to-be-lucky\/ has some valuable pointers on how to increase your luck (ironically or not given as a list of 13 factors).<\/p>\n

I would highly suggest that if you’ve never considered yourself a lucky person, it’s time to reorient yourself to draw more luck into your life.<\/p>\n
