PowerPoint Presentations are seen to be boring – why?

The worst PowerPoint presentations contain slides that have been overloaded with information and lack interesting topics. It is easy to lose your audience by not using the latest features that PowerPoint offers or providing too many facts.

I am sure you have witnessed a bored audience or even been a part of one yourself. Commonly onlookers try and hide the fact that they are slowly nodding off in a warm environment listening to the dulcet tones of a speaker.

You need PowerPoint answers but where can you find them?

Today’s best place for finding solutions is on the internet. There are many sites where there are tutorials, hints and tips to using PowerPoint, for example You Tube. Even Microsoft have added to this site to help users of their software. Be prepared to spend some time searching for the right clip though to answer your specific enquiry.

Answering specific questions on PowerPoint

To get specific answers on the web you need to look for sites that specialise in PowerPoint Videos. There are not many out there but good sites will even have a search facility and selection to help you. It is not unusual to find articles on the sites as well.

Video help and advice

Be sensitive to the general concentration span of human beings which lasts between 4-11 seconds. This should confirm that presentations and video clips should be short and sweet to be affective. Try creating a short video per topic rather one long video covering everything. This way more information will be absorbed and as a result, the viewer will enjoy the experience more.

Learn about bad presentations from top comedians and presenters

It is easy to find top, well known presenters and comedians giving their view on how you should be doing this. Well if you think about it, they do it for a living. The best in the business help you give the presentations of your life. They actually do their routine using PowerPoint so it is a real learning experience.

If you want to learn how to create the best PowerPoint presentation in a fun and entertaining way, seek help from video lessons

Where do I find all this free PowerPoint Video Tuition?

Yes, but look for specific sites which allow you to pull specific pages from thousands of clips on You Tube, for example. You can then scroll through the videos until you find the crucial one that answers your query. It is worth it to help you to create the most memorable and professional PowerPoint presentations.
