Whether you’re familiar with the term ‘MLM’ or not, you are most assuredly familiar with the business model. Was your neighbor down the street an Avon lady, or did your mother sell Pampered Chef? Or are you one of the millions<\/a> of women<\/a> who have had a Mary Kay makeover. Then you are familiar with MLM. Today, the popularity of MLM companies has doubled what it was even ten years ago, and the catalogues for Tastefully Simple, Pampered Chef and Avon abound at offices everywhere.<\/p>\n

I flip through those catalogues as I’m heating up my lunch in the breakroom, and I wonder, “How is Direct Sales working out for these people?” Are they loving their jobs and bringing in a large income, or are they discouraged by the amount of “no’s” they receive?<\/p>\n

Before technology got involved, there was only one way to succeed at network marketing. The marketer had to be a born salesperson, outspoken, loud, continually on the lookout for new prospects. The very nature of the business demanded it. For that reason, many have either not tried multilevel marketing, or tried it but quickly gave up.<\/p>\n

Everyone likes the idea of earning money from home, and everyone likes to think about being the boss of their own business, who can decide on their own schedule and earnings. These things are possible through network marketing, but many don’t even know it. What a shame that the good features associated with mlm companies are hidden by stigmas from the past!<\/p>\n

The truth<\/a> is, MLM can be great source of residual income, if it is gone about in the right way. And it doesn’t have to take the kind of person I mentioned earlier. Advances in technology have opened new ways to achieve success in network marketing so different from traditional methods they’ve turned the stigma-tattooed industry upside down!<\/p>\n

There is a whole big world out there that can be reached using the Internet. Network marketers can now attract prospects to them by offering informative articles<\/a> and web content, helpful tips and web-inars before ever trying to sell anything to anyone. The big world is not providing these network marketers with big residual income.<\/p>\n

That makes the idea of prospecting in your cul-de-sac neighborhood seem asinine, doesn’t it? That’s because your neighborhood, your local grocery store, your office, or even your whole town, are ultimately limited markets. You may make income, but it won’t be residual income. Your home business will eventually reach a plateau.<\/p>\n

With Internet marketing, you’re working with a global field. Your stream of prospects and your earnings are limitless. With this new form of network marketing, distributors do not have to waste their time and energy chasing down prospects that may or may not be interested. The Internet is geared toward seekers. Therefore, those who find your home business on the web will do so because they have sought it out themselves.<\/p>\n

That means your work is almost done by the time the interaction even begins! You have become a sought-after commodity. The choice is now truly yours who you want to work with and how much money you want to make. Once established, this state of being sought-after multiplies itself exponentially. Everyone wants to be friends with the popular kid! Everyone wants to buy name brand! It’s written into the Law of Attraction.<\/p>\n

Additionally, modern network marketers are able to make money while they establish their businesses by selling advertising space on their website or by linking with a separate company to promote their products for commission. You need not pay for advertising in the beginning, because there are numerous avenues for free advertising, such as YouTube<\/a> and Ezine Articles. The business pays for itself, and the consultants are not desperate or discouraged.<\/p>\n

That’s a long way from the indignity associated with Direct Sales in our mothers’ day. Network marketers today have established themselves as valuable commodities, experts in their respective fields, and they have utilitized the Internet to build profitable businesses and substantial income! Take off the preconceived notions and take a second look at multilevel marketing.<\/p>\n
