This is also true for a notebook computer but should be left to a professional.  There are however some upgrades and repairs that you can accomplish yourself without to much trouble using genuine Toshiba parts or even generic replace parts. Usually the hard drive as well as the memory can be upgraded.  If you have the knowledge to handle the upgrades yourself you will save some money, otherwise it is best to let a professional do it.<\/p>\n<p>Most hard drive manufactures will be compatible with your laptop although if your doing a memory upgrade or repair you should stick Toshiba notebook parts.
