Today’s topic is: How to tap the profit power of niche marketing.<\/p>\n

A lot of people think the time for profiting from niche marketing is over. Frank Kern and Ed Dale certainly popularized this approach with their “Underachiever” course. Since that course is no longer available, many wrongly assume that niche marketing no longer works.<\/p>\n

Nothing could be further from the truth<\/a>! Niche marketing still works and you can still make A LOT of money doing it. In fact, I have a friend who has some niche websites in obscure markets that make him about $8000 a month, and his business is growing every month because he uses the principles of good marketing. Basic things you can learn from various Internet marketing teachers.<\/p>\n

I have another friend, Dr. Andrew Jones, who started as a client, then a coaching student and now a friend. He started with a little $27 e-book in a niche market, and has grown it into a $15,000\/month business. And it’s still growing!<\/p>\n

I didn’t write<\/a> this article to sell you my coaching program. I want to sell you an idea – that niche marketing works, and can help you cash in. I’m offering you five simple steps to build your niche, quickly and easily. Of course, this is a broad overview of a complex topic, but these simple steps can get you on your way without spending any money or undertaking a long study of marketing. You’ll have to put some work into it, but you already knew that, right? Too bad you can’t just push a button and have money spit out of your CD-ROM.<\/p>\n

Here are those 5 steps:<\/p>\n

Locate a product. I say “locate”, not “create”, because a lot of people are intimidated by product creation (even though product creation is the easiest thing in the world to do!). The easiest thing that you can do is locate products by finding private label rights packages that give you the right to re-publish product that has already been created. Now, you may think that these products are not worth your time, because everyone’s already seen them, or they don’t work, or, or, or The startling truth is that while many people are on private label rights sites, very few actually use those products. So, if you do a good job re-packaging the product, change the title, change the graphics, and you can have a ready-made product in a very short time. I promise you can do this in less than an hour. Just pick one, don’t look for the perfect one! Less than an hour!<\/p>\n

Make your sales page and testing software. Most of these private label rights packages contain a pre-written sales page template. It’s a great place to start, though you don’t want to use it forever. Once you have created a sales page, you can test it with the Website Optimizer from Google. You can then tweak the sales letter to improve sales.<\/p>\n

Link payment pages to Paypal or Clickbank. These sites provide payment services for a small fee. This is a great way to avoid the hassle of setting up credit<\/a> card payments on your site.<\/p>\n

Drive traffic to your site with Adwords. Go to Google and set up an Adwords account. Their tutorials are great, and will guide you through the process.<\/p>\n

Repeat!<\/p>\n

Ready for one last piece of advice? “How to make money online” is NOT a good niche market to start with. It is a good market, but very competitive. Instead, start with a less-competitive market. Your competition will be less sophisticated, and you will be able to earn as you learn.<\/p>\n
