Reaching For Success with Little Risks

by John

The quality of the products and services offered by a company represent definitely the most important aspect for each business. While everyone may naturally associate entrepreneurialism with business, they are not necessarily linked concepts a business person may not be an entrepreneur, while an entrepreneur might not be the finest example of entrepreneurialism in practice.

A company which offers high quality services or products but which is not interesting to promote them doesn’t have so much success like a corporation which doesn’t accentuate so much the quality of the items they produce but the way in which they promote these products.

In every competitive market the promotional products and the imprinted products are very important for each company. Without risks, business wouldn’t succeed. Business wouldn’t create jobs or pay wages. Without risk, business wouldn’t get off the ground. A corporation which is very much interesting in promoting its image and in the same time its products or services will choose very carefully the promotional products which will be introduced on the market as awards of devoted clients or attention for its most important business partners.

Grow your business only at a rate it can sustain and you will create a profitable, healthy environment in which your business might grow and develop into something more substantial. Another good way of limiting your exposure to risk in business is to strategically think about your business and its growth over the next five or ten year period. As a limited liability company, you can safeguard your personal assets against any company debts, allowing you to take more risks with fewer repercussions on behalf of your business.

Allow your business to stagnate, or pursue too violent a growth curve and you’re creating a high risk environment, in which your business might thrive or crumble with equal measure.

As a business person you are brimming with entrepreneurialism, you should not be afraid to limit your risk. You should be encouraged to take risks for the benefit of the economy and your own business success, but there is nothing to prevent a bit of common sense caution from helping to protect against the most serious causes of new business failure.

Easy Ways to Boost Website Traffic Now

by Paul Turner Marketing.com

Can you boost your web site traffic today? And I don’t mean necessarily by PPC (pay per click) which can be expensive. Here are some ideas and things you can do for little or no cost and get people visiting your site within a few hours.

Blogging – do you have your own blog? If you don’t then please set one up today for free at www.blogger.com or www.wordpress.com and start getting links to your site. Some links will make traffic, so you have to get the word out about your blog post. What do you do is write a post with keywords related to your topic, and then use ping services to spread the word. Try using www.pingomatic.com and www.pingoat.com that will send your link to lots of blog directories and sites. Web visitors will grow the more posts you make, and how about posting on other peoples blogs so they see your URL and may visit.

Forum posting – there is a forum out there for most subjects and you can usually join for free. To find them just search on Google for your keyword plus the word forum. You can’t blatantly promote in your forum post but if you write sensible posts, offer help and advice you are likely to get people check out your site and this can happen for free on the same day.

Write some articles – article writing is one of my favourite ways to generate traffic. You can get longer term traffic but usually a flurry when the article is accepted. Try not to send the same article out each time to the different directories, rewrite them to make them unique. Some will fail, some will be average and some will be superb, so it is a case of not relying on just the one article.

Use Digg – place a snippet of your story or news item on Digg and they list it on their high traffic site within a few hours, often quicker – a great way to get exposure and longer term build your links and longer term traffic.

Email broadcast – you can use some one else’s list if you don’t have your own. Join www.listdotcom.com for example and you can send out an email. To be honest I find responses are low, but better if I offer something for free.

Joint Ventures – politely ask another list owner in your business if you can form a mutually beneficial partnership and let them promote to your list, or put a banner on your web site. In exchange you get to do the same, but emailing to their list is the most beneficial thing to do and this can bring you a boost to your internet traffic. Make sure you aren’t in direct competition with each other. To use a popular example, if you knew a business that sold gold clubs and you sold golf shoes then you have a product that will be of interest but not in direct competition.

Make Money Online With Affiliate Marketing

by Steve Johnson

There are many ways to make money online, but most require either a product to sell, space to hold inventory and time to deal with customer enquiries, or skills you can effectively trade online – which is OK if you’re a computer programmer, but a bit tricky if you’re a plumber!

One of the best ways to start making money online is through what is called affiliate or internet marketing. Affiliate marketing is a fancy term for recommending to other people a product or service you know about, and being paid a commission by the company that sells the product when they decide to purchase it – which means you don’t need to worry about inventory or deal with customers yourself.

You might initially start an online business as a way to make a bit of extra money on the side. But it is certainly possible to build a business that provides you with a substantial full-time income. You will (probably) not get rich quick, but if you are prepared to put in the work you will get amazing results.

If you’ve ever waxed lyrical to a friend about the magical cleaning properties of the Vacu-suck 2000, or the entertainment and fitness value of your Nintendo Wii-Fit, then you have the most important skill required to succeed in affiliate marketing.

Everything else you need to know, from creating your first website to running a Google Adwords campaign, can be learned through an affiliate training program.

Important features to look for in an affiliate training program:

* Has an established reputation for helping others succeed

* Provides good training in the fundamental principles and workings of affiliate marketing

* Helps you choose the right tools to use, like a web site builder. Some courses will provide tools as part of your training.

* Helps you locate products you can promote in your business

The best training programs include member forums where you can ask questions, get advice and share the experience of others, which you will find invaluable in helping you get started and in growing a successful online business.

Best of luck in your internet business!

Know spywares lurking in your computer waiting to cause damage.

by Terry Gilfeather

In the virtual universe that the internet is, just like the real universe, good things can be bad. It all depends on how they are used.

Spywares started when website owners tried to understand the user of the site better. By responding well to the users unique browsing experience, the website owner can make the visit to the site a more positive experience, which is good for the user as well as the site owner.

Spyware, however, shows its evil face when it is overused in that respect and worse, is misused with bad intentions. Instead of trying to enhance the user’s site experience, private, financial data is stolen and sent out. The goal of the spyware has moved instead to stealing private information.

With the boom of the internet or the virtual universe in the mid to late 90’s, spywares also followed booming. Too many spywares and malwares are released to the internet by evil intentioned programmers that it is no longer safe to ignore them since info stolen can and actually be used to steal money to huge amounts.

So anti spywares also boomed. They are created with specific purpose of finding and combating the spywares in the virtual battlefield. They are mostly successful because antispywares are usually created by well coordinated and informed programmers working in established commercial enterprises instead of the usually isolated or badly coordinated programmers creating the spywares.

It is when special spywares are created in a coordinated, well thought out manner that it sometimes become major hazards. The moment a spyware is released to the virtual universe, it can start causing havoc immediately. Anti spywares only come out later after the spywares have led to damage.

The worse arrives when spywares which look like anti spywares were created. Created by the most skillfull but bad hearted programmers, these are the most difficult to fight againts especially for the non-technical population of the internet.

Understanding spywares and malwares is very important as you join the virtual universe. The best firewalls and antispywares will be broken by newer spywares. Hence it pays for the layman at least to grasp some understanding on this. The technicalities should not make you ignorant. Once you understand at least to some level, you reduce your chance of getting damaged badly.

Writing articles – some of the article directories review your article before they post it to ensure quality and some don’t, and that means you can get an article with a link to your web site showing within a few hours. Other people pick up on them and use them for content on their own sites and all the time your link is in the author bio box pointing to your site.

Use Digg – place a snippet of your story or news item on Digg and they list it on their high traffic site within a few hours, often quicker – a great way to get exposure and longer term build your links and longer term traffic.

Email your list – what? You don’t have a list yet? Surprisingly lot’s of people on the web haven’t built up there own email list. If you haven’t already done so I can send you some more info. Just visit my blog. The good thing about a list is you can preset a series of messages to offer them, and you can send out an email broadcast at any time telling them to visit your site for the latest special offer or piece of advice – voila – instant boost to web traffic.

Engage in a joint Venture – you can’t always do it in one day, although with the right contacts you can. If you receive a newsletter from another website in your area of expertise then why not see if you can offer something of interest to them and their readers. Free reports are good or something where the list owner can make a commission on any sales. A good tip is to make sure you collect email addresses as well to build your own list at the same time.

Online Data Storage

by Lucky Balaraman

Online data storage has been, for many years, a topic that most of us hardly thought about. But with many computer functions moving online from your desdtop, the subject is now assuming increasing significance. This presents the latest overview of current technology.

~ Reliability ~

Online data storage is now more reliable than local storage on a DVD or external hard drive. That is because major online file storage companies store copies of your data on multiple servers. These servers are connected together in a storage network. If any one of these fails, your data is safe on all the others. On the other hand, if your backup DVD fails, guess what happens to your data.

~ Cost ~

Lets say you wanted to store 500 GB for 24 months. Using redundanrtr disks and servers for super reliability, your cost would be around $3000. And that doesn’t include floor space, air-conditioning, security, electricity bills, building maintenance costs, hardware repair expenses and hardware/software maintenance contracts. Assuming all these at a reasonable 10% per year, we’re talking $600 in overheads, for a grand total of $3,600.

One of the most reliable online data storage networks charges 15 cents per Gigabyte per month for storage. 500 GB would cost $75 per month. It would take 48 months to cost $3600. In addition, the cost of online storage space will steadily decrease over those 48 months, so loking at cost over the sensible long-term, you’re seeing a good picture.

~ Speed ~

Let’s say you have a popular online photo-sharing site. There are times when there are thousands of photo uploads per minute. To exemplify what I’m going to say, suppose you had all the photos stored on a web server consisting of one or two CPUs. How would they react to the demand?

They would slow down. Your users would probably have to wait at least half an hour for their downloads to start.

Not so with an efficient, large online storage service. As mentioned earlier, your data is housed on multiple servers (CPUs) , and additional servers kick in as required to serve the downloads. No single server is overloaded, and no user experiences a delay in his download to start (incidentally, this delay is called ‘latency’).

~ Finally ~

Online data storage is now equivalent in cost, faster and more reliable than storage on small CPUs or web servers.

It’s time to start considering online data storage seriously, whether it’s for backing up a few GB of personal files or for storing a multimedia database for paid services.

Why Protecting Your Identity is Not Necessarily Free

by Jed Jenson

When it comes down to it, if time equals money, then nothing is free when it comes to protecting your identity. Although the federal government has made it possible for each citizen to protect their identity, many individuals do not realize that they must request these “free” services on a continuous basis. When taking into account the amount of time it takes to repeatedly request these “free” services, “free” can easily turn into thousands of dollars of financial ruin and thousands of hours spent trying to restore one’s good name and credit. Fortunately, though, there is an economic way to protect your identity and prevent identity theft through a company called LifeLock. LifeLock’s Identity Theft Prevention services can help you protect your identity and prevent identity theft in six valuable ways.

1. Fraud Alerts – LifeLock helps to protect your identity by requesting Fraud Alerts for you every 90 days. A fraud alert is a “flag” placed on your credit report that notifies a lender that they must, among other things, verify your identity before issuing a credit card or loan. If a LifeLock member has difficulty in obtaining credit because of a fraud alert on their credit account, LifeLock will contact the credit issuer for the member and clear up any concerns about the alert.

2. Do Not Call or Mail Lists – One of the easiest ways for thieves to steal your identity and affect your credit status is by stealing pre-approved credit card offers from your mailbox or calling under the guise of a telemarketer telling you that you have won a free trip and asking for your personal information, as well as a credit card, to pay for the expenses not covered by the award, i.e. room taxes. The best way to prevent this type of identity theft is to remove your name from calling or mail lists; however, this must be done on an annual basis. LifeLock makes it easy for you to continuously remove your name from solicitation lists by doing these steps for you on an annual basis.

3. Credit Reports – Being sure to check your credit report is a good way to help protect your identity. By checking your credit report, you can see if you have had any unauthorized loans or credit cards opened in your name. Although the federal government has made it a law for you to receive a free credit report from each of the 3 credit agencies yearly, the only way to ensure that your credit is checked all year long is to request a credit report from one of the credit agencies every 4 months. This can be very time consuming and cumbersome. LifeLock takes the time and effort out of remembering to pull your credit report by sending you a copy of your credit report four times a year.

4. WalletLock – If you really want to protect your identity, don’t lose your wallet. Of course, that is easier said than done. If you have ever lost your wallet, chances are you have experienced a sense of fear and panic and thought, “What was in my wallet and how do I stop someone from using my credit cards?” With LifeLock’s WalletLock system, there is no need to feel fear or panic if you lose your wallet. Through WalletLock you will be able to identify what was in your wallet and will be assigned a WalletLock specialist who will help you contact each credit card company, banking institution, and any state and federal agencies who issue driver’s licenses, etc. to cancel the accounts and to begin the process of reinstating missing documents.

5. Identity Monitoring – With LifeLock’s eRecon and TrueAddress systems, potential identity theft threats are detected and eliminated through searching criminal websites and nationwide databases. eRecon protects your identity through searching criminal websites for the selling or trading of your social security number, credit card numbers, driver’s license number, email address, etc. and notifies you if such use is discovered. TrueAddress works by detecting any change of address information in relation to your name that occurs on nationwide databases. You will be alerted if a criminal tries to steal your mail or obtain your financial information by attempting to change your address. LifeLock also ensures that thieves do not open new bank accounts in a subscriber’s name by monitoring check systems.

6. Recovering Your Identity – Because criminals find ways around the system, preventing identity theft is not always fool-proof. Because of this, LifeLock offers a $1,000,000 total service guarantee that if someone happens to discover a weakness in their system and uses it to steal your identity, they will provide attorneys, investigators, accountants, case managers, etc. to restore your good name and, if you lose money as a result of the theft, LifeLock will reimburse you the amount of money lost. Todd Davis, CEO of LifeLock, has even been quoted as saying “If you get thrown in jail [because of identity theft], we’ll bail you out of jail.”

Deciding to protect your identity and choosing the way in which you go about protecting your identity is completely up to you. There are ways to protect your identity which will only cost you in terms of time and effort vs. money; however, there is no guarantee that you will recover your money and good name if your identity is stolen. The time, effort and money involved in protecting your identity and in having your identity stolen and credit ruined is incalculable. A smart consumer knows when it is time to ask, “When is free actually “free” when it comes to protecting my identity?” LifeLock’s Identity Protection and Theft Prevention services take the time and effort out of you protecting your identity and backs up their work with a guarantee that any money involved, up to one million dollars, in restoring your good name, credit and money lost if your identity is stolen while you are a member of LifeLock will not come out of your pocket.

America Need Struggle No longer for the Best Affiliate Program

by Elizabeth Clark

Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln displayed Godlike qualities from their historical biographies. America’s denial of these beliefs of our founding president’s have caused numerous problems today.

Our colleges, churches, schools, even the media, do not remind American citizens of the great accomplishments, lifestyles and character our founding Presidents displayed.

The phrase in God we trust is highly displayed on all American currency. Yet our American lifestyle and quality of living is diminishing like the value of our currency.

Our US currency has fallen below the Canadian Euro, British Pound, Japanese Yen, South Korean Won. The only currency we are slightly above is the Mexican Peso. And with a Gross National Debt of: $9,396,947,760,421

By studying American history you will definitely know our system of government is based on biblical principles. This makes the best affiliate program harder to locate.

Our glorious National Anthem, and our Pledge of Allegiance to our American flag; identify our Godly standard and character. America’s ethics is at the heart of religion. And many wars were fought and won because of America’s trust in God.

You may not know this, Thanksgiving was first proclaimed on November 29, 1621 by Governor William Bradford. A day of fasting and prayer was also ordered by Governor Bradford. The pilgrims crops desperately needed rain for cultivation.

Squanto’s and Samoset, two Indians who spoke their language, helped the early pilgrims prosper in the new land. And throughout the years they prospered as they trusted in God.

The two Indians and their tribe taught the early pilgrims the healing properties of plants and which plants were poisonous. They also taught them how to harvest their crops.

America’s prosperity was truly founded through our presidential forefathers. These early pilgrims and presidents laid a solid foundation for America’s prosperity. Our bankruptcy laws were set up from biblical principles.

All debts were forgiven in the year of Jubilee, Leviticus the 25th chapter reveals this. All of the Jews in debt were given a fresh start. There were 1,484,570 bankruptcies filed in 2006. A few less filed in 2007. But the new bankruptcy laws give no relief of debt.

These Americans will almost never recover. They will be in serious need of the best affiliate program. The percentage of unmarried couples living together that are male and female relationships are soaring at eighty nine percent.

The institution of marriage, due to the rising gas prices and a unstable economy is no longer a priority. In general relationships are falling a part.

Our court system is totally overloaded. And the infidelity of Americans politicians only adds more coal to the fire.

Senator David Vitter admitted that he was being called by an escort service. The Senator of Idaho, Larry Craig, acknowledged he was guilty of disorderly conduct.

Mark Foley, a Florida Republican, after reports of sending gruesome messages to pages of the male congressionals, resigned.

Under oath, former President, Bill Clinton denied having any sexual relationship with Monica Lewinsky.

Republican Jack Ryan dropped out of a 2004 Senate race when his wife filed divorce papers that alleged he had taken her to “bizarre clubs” and asked her to have sex in front of other people.

Bob Livingston, the former Louisiana’s Republican, admitted to straying in his marriage. Then resigned from Congress several months later.

Senator Gary Hart, a native of Colorado, three weeks into his Democratic presidential campaign; was reported by the Miami Herald, as spending the night with another woman.

Governor of New York State Eliot Spitzer, had to resign after his involvement in a prostitution ring became public.

Remember a nation is only as strong as its elected officials. The minorities in America’s judicial system are guilty until proven innocent. The finances needed for legal fees and parking penalize anyone accused. A document called the “discovery” automatically compounds hidden charges about the accused.

Unless a court date is set the accused can never view the comments by the officers on the “discovery” document. 90% of minority cases are plea-bargained. Because they lack the finances needed for good legal representation. So it’s common to plea to a lesser charge.

A public defender, who usually cares more about their reputation then the minority client there defending. Subconsciously, entices their client to a plea bargain.

And though most horrifying part is we have not even begun to talk about rising medical costs. And the major drug and prostitution crisis in America.

In the midst of chaos, America is building more jails and correctional facilities. America is fighting more wars, why? Finding the best affiliate program is definitely a must.

If Abraham Lincoln, George Washington or Thomas Jefferson were here today; what would they say? Would they see freedom or control?

Would they see one nation under God indivisible, with liberty and justice for all as Abraham Lincoln proclaimed in his Gettysburg address?

I’m a firm believer that if you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything. And America is falling from the principles that made it strong.

The Internet is America’s last resort for a decent income. Because more and more Americans are out of work than ever before. There is no stability in jobs and the economy.

The question is, is there an easier way to make money in these uncertain times? And the answer is, through affiliate programs. The best affiliate program can be found online. A partnership program of trusted products waiting to be sold.

There are many affiliate money making websites available. Commission Junction and the PayDotCom marketplace along with the click blank marketplace; are great places to start. The money making system is already in place.

In a world of broken promises and a declining dollar it’s nice to know you can still find the best affiliate program in America.

Ensuring Your Home’s Safety

by Ken Thompson

Nobody wants to go home to an insecure house. Your home should be your safest, most secure place that you can go to relax. Furthermore, when your family and friends are visiting with you, they need to feel safe as well. The only true way to ensure your family’s safety is to have home security equipment. It may not be necessary for everyone to have home security equipment installed into their home or office, but since crime is on the rise, everyone should take time to look into it.

Home security equipment installed in your home is important for many reasons. You want to be able to keep you and your family safe in your own home. You cannot do this without having some type of home security equipment installed on the inside or outside of your house. If you do not have any home security equipment, you will need to begin searching for the right choice in home security equipment.

In doing so, you can go with one of two choices. You can have a professional security company install the home security equipment (this would include all the accessories) or you can opt to install the main components of the home security equipment yourself. By choosing a company to install your security system, you can take comfort in knowing that you will be provided quick installation of these essential elements as well as customer support if your alarm sounds.

Also, you can select certain parts of a home security system to install on your own. More often than not, the task at hand is simple and almost anyone can do it themselves. In fact, it’s really easy. All you need to do is buy all the parts and put them where they belong. This allows you to advantage from the safety and security that a system provides, but you are able to avoid the high costs that many companies charge.

You can purchase your home security equipment in all types of places. Before you go shopping, search online for home security equipment so that you can better understand your options. You’ll be able to see the variations in models and you can compare prices. Furthermore, you can begin to create your own security system with the parts you need and eliminate any parts that aren’t necessary.

It’s still a good idea to research the company, even if you have already signed up with them. It is just as important to research security companies as it is medical professionals. Some things to look into are the company’s qualifications and background, as well as their commitment to customer service. You can obtain peace of mind with your decision by making a few phone calls and checking referrals.
