Liberty League – A Close Look At The Pay Plan

by Tom Culbertson

Let’s take a close look here at Liberty League and their compensation plan.

Liberty League’s been around the block now for quite a few years. Going on seven now. This means that in your search for a home business you more than likely came across Liberty League. You’re here because you most likely want to find out more about the company before you join. So here we’re going to take a look at the most important thing. The compensation plan.

I’m going to focus primarily on Liberty League’s compensation plan. The most critical part of any home business is the compensation plan. Most people will tell you that Liberty League has a 2-Up compensation plan. While this is partly true it’s not completely accurate. A 2-Up program simply means that you will have to pass up your first two sales to your sponsor before you can then make money for your self.

Now while it’s partially true that Liberty League has a 2-Up pass up program, were not seeing the whole picture here. When you get ready to join Liberty League you will have two options. You can actually join the company for only $49.95 and not have to purchase any product but if you go this route you will then have to pass up your first five sales to your sponsor. That’s a total of $5,000 in commissions that you will lose if you do that.

With Liberty League you will have to buy the Beyond Freedom Program to be able to pass up 2 instead of 5 of your first sales. The program has a cost of $1495. This is where most people get confused thinking that Liberty League is only a 2-Up.

If you want to get technical at this point you could say that Liberty League is both a 2-Up and a 5-Up. However it is also a 4-Up as well. You’ll shortly find out why. Liberty League has two more products that they sell and they are conferences. The first product is called the Liberty Conference and the second product is called the Summit conference.

The Liberty Conference has a cost of $7,995 and the Summit Conference has a cost of $12,995. Pretty pricey huh? Liberty League claims that if you compare there price to other companies conferences they have a low price. I’m not sure whether this is true or not but know that this is still a heck of a lot of money here.

To be able to sell the Liberty and Summit Conference you are first required to purchase them for yourself. Keep in mind that you will still have to pay for your air fare, hotel stay, transportation, and food. The price of the conference only is for the conference and nothing else. After purchasing one or both of the conferences you will then have to pass up your first four sales to your sponsor. Then you are qualified to sell the Liberty League conferences and make money for yourself.

So if you want to get technical here Liberty League can be considered a 2-Up, a 5-Up, and also a 4-Up as far as their pass up program is concerned. It just depends on what level you are currently at with the company. If you don’t mind passing all these sales and spending a lot of money Liberty League might still be for you. Liberty League after a law suit in 2006 was required to show what their average earnings are. I checked it out and they claim that 81% of it’s members are going to average around $7,000 a year. Now check out some numbers here. If you buy the Beyond Freedom program you have to spend $1495. Then you pass up your first two sales to your sponsor. Add that up and your now at $3500.

Also keep in mind the cost of marketing your business, the 49.95 you are charged per month for your site and then the $99.00 that you are charged every three months to have access to the conference calls. This ads up to another $995.40 and still doesn’t include any marketing costs. It’s very safe to say that you will spend at least $100 a month marketing your website. That’s another $1,200 right there. So for the 81% of the people that make $7,000 a year it’s safe to say that they will spend at least $5,700 in the process. This means you have a 81% chance with Liberty League to make $1,300 a year with the company. Sorry I’m all about numbers and these numbers aren’t very promising.

I’d recommend passing on Liberty League. There compensation plan is very old school and there marketing techniques are very limited and almost entirely done off-line. There are companies out there where you’ll have a much better chance of success. I don’t believe Liberty League is one of them.

Free Web Hosting

by Ray Lam

There are different types of web hosting providers available in the marketplace. One option is free web hosting providers. Free web hosting has the obvious advantage of being easy on the wallet but there are other drawbacks that mitigate it’s attractiveness as a web hosting option. Web hosting providers that offer free services are usually supporting themselves through advertising on the site. Because of this, these web hosting providers will usually have to place some ads on your site. This may not be desirable for your company or purposes and may therefore make paid web hosting providers a better option for your needs.

Some free web hosting providers offer instant activation. This means that the moment you sign up you will be able to start building and using your site. Instant activation also has its drawbacks however. Web hosting providers who offer instant activation also often provide minimal storage space and bandwidth. These limitations can slow down the speed of your site and make it difficult to add details and store information such as graphics and links.

After compiling your list then decide the service that you want from a web host. Consider the advantages and disadvantages of availing the services of a particular web host. You might also want to ask around. Actually there are a lot of discussion forums on the Internet regarding free website hosting. Go around discussion boards and read. You can also ask people who have availed of free website hosting about their experiences in getting a free hosting service. This is a good way for you to learn about the pros as well as cons of getting such service.

Free website hosting is ideal if your budget is small to non-existent. It can be the perfect thing for a personal web site. However, for a business, free hosting is not recommended. Free hosting accounts often do not provide enough storage or bandwidth for most businesses. You may wonder how free providers can afford to offer free hosting. Almost always, they make money by putting advertisements on the free pages. Therefore, you can certainly expect your pages to show ads on them that you did not place there. The worst is when a free host uses popups, which is very aggravating for visitors.

Indeed getting a free website hosting service can be a laborious process. But if you want to get free hosting then follow these simple procedures and be free!

Linux Web Hosting : Advantage Of Linux Web Hosting

by Ray Lam

Linux web hosting refers to web hosting services that are based on a server that is running the Linux operating system. It is probably the most widely used type of web hosting, especially for individuals and small to medium sized businesses, simply because Linux web hosting is cheaper than other options like Windows based hosting. The reason for this is that Linux is an open source software product and as such does not incur the high licensing fees that other operating systems do; you can freely download and use it at no cost. On the other hand, a web hosting service that offers Windows based hosting has to pay for the software and maintenance fees.

Some of the advantages of Linux web hosting are: cheaper than Windows, support for PHP scripts and MySQL databases and some hosts may offer telnet accounts at no or little additional cost. In many circles Linux is believed to be more secure than Windows, and for that reason it is also the more popular choice for web designers and programmers. Linux web hosting also offers users many configuration and customization options.

The Linux operating system is also very stable, so you can expect high uptime from a Linux web hosting service. Linux supports most scripting languages and types of web files, and you can use files with all the following extensions: .html, .htm, .pl, .php, .shtml, .asp, .xml and others. The biggest disadvantage of a Linux based web hosting solution is that it is not compatible with Microsoft technologies, like ASP scripts.

The next item that’s important about whey to choose Linux web hosting is the fact that it’s very, very easy for the end user to grasp. Most of the Linux web hosting plans available come with such things as FrontPage Extensions, built in CGI scripts, html serving protocols, Web Hosting Control Panels and so much more that the list would take practically days to write.

Database types available for Linux, depends mostly on the web hosting provider you select to host your website. There are many flavors of databases that run on Linux, but the most prevalent among web host providers are mSQL, MySQL., and PostgreSQL. These databases are all relational in nature, and allow highly optimized communication with your website for quick retrieval of information.

Dedicated Web Hosting : Key Benefits of Dedicated Web Hosting

by Ray Lam

Shared hosting is a wonderful and inexpensive starting point for a smaller websites that do not have great amount of traffic. With time your website can outgrow the constrains of a shared web hosting plan. At this the time you may consider to purchase a dedicated server as your hosting solution. Dedicated web hosting may cost you as much as $500 a month, and today many web hosting providers offer products called Virtual Private Servers or Virtual Servers. These products offer power and flexibility of a dedicated server yet at much lower price.

With virtual or shared web hosting, you don’t have a lot of flexibility or control over your web server that your hosting provider owns. The company providing shared web hosting services partitions a server to be shared between a number of customers for their websites and email. Because it is a shared server, the customers with virtual web hosting on the server share the hard drive, the processor, and the bandwidth as well as applications. The web host that provides the virtual hosting services has control over the server configurations.

As its name indicates, the client will have complete control over the website with the dedicated hosting service. The client can choose the software, operating system, settings, and multi-media requirements for its website. Dedicated hosting is also practical for clients that want better control of their servers but do not have the money to purchase their own servers.

Aside from flexibility and control, there are other advantages of having dedicated web hosting. Because you are the only customer using the server, you don’t share resources such as hard drive space, processing speed, bandwidth and applications, so dedicated web hosting can be a lot more efficient and can provide a lot more space and speed of processing for your website, database and email applications. The disadvantage of dedicated web hosting as compared to virtual web hosting is that the cost of dedicated web hosting is higher than that of shared hosting.

Domain name servers (DNS) provide the link between your domain name (mysite.com) and its Internet Protocol (IP) address. The IP address is a series of numbers like this: 123.456.78.9. and every web server has its own IP address. For a dedicated server hosting a single domain, the IP address is equivalent to the domain name. A site hosted on a dedicated server can be found on the Web as either 123.456.78.9 or as mysite.com.

Upgrading from virtual web hosting to dedicated web hosting is recommended if your business has multiple websites, uses custom applications, needs specialized support or increased web hosting space and speed. If your website or websites provide download capabilities for customers, then dedicated web hosting is a good web hosting option for you because there will be fewer bandwidth restrictions than there are with virtual or shared web hosting.

Developing Technology & The Evolving Internet

by Stewart M. Russell

Time and tide may be two things that wait for nobody, but something else that nobody seems to be able to catch up with is technology. No matter what field you are in, whether it is media or business or medicine or travel or anything else, technology has made everyone’s life a lot easier. Of all the fields, information technology has been the fastest developing.

Technology has made everything easier, simpler and faster. Keeping records is easy and convenient with a computer and the right software. Mailing now takes only a few seconds. Most businesses have websites. Conducting business now is easy – virtual swiping of a piece of plastic is all you need.

The internet has connected the whole world. Just about everything can be done online now. Something as simple as framing a document to something as complex as an auction or a complex equation can be done online. Audio and videos can be streamed and watched by people all over the world. With IT, the concept of the global village is closer to being true than ever before.

From application development and computer networking to database management and sophisticated websites, the influence of information technology is everywhere you go. Let’s take a look at how much it has become a part of our everyday use of the internet.

Communication: Communication has evolved from simple messages sent over the command prompt to video conferencing and VoIP technology. Emails and Instant Messengers have taken the place of ordinary mail and telegrams – the internet is all you need to communicate. Now, you can access the internet from mobile phones, yet another step forward.

E-Commerce: Buying and selling online is something we simply don’t give a second thought to anymore. Place an order and get what you want delivered, right into your hands – and there are plenty of ways to pay, from your credit cards to paypal to eGold. In fact, you can get anything you want online

Devices: Every device has to be constantly improved to stay in the market. Everything is going digital, in fact – after all, if alarms can wake you up by telling you exactly what time it is and schedulers can remind you of what you should be doing, why shouldn’t refrigerators, soon, suggest what you should eat if you’re on a diet? Manufacturers for everything are searching for new ideas. Integrated GPRS to connect to the net, broadband connections – brands like LG and Samsung are at the forefront in such research.

So, as technology develops and incidentally helps the internet grow, the achievements awaiting the human race throughout time are limitless.

| Liberty League | Will Liberty League Make You Money |

by Tom Culbertson

Read this article over before you go and join Liberty League. You’ll be glad you did.

The question that always pops up for everyone for Liberty League or any business is, “Is this a Scam or a Legitimate Business?” Truth be told and in my personal opinion I would say no. Liberty League is not a scam. Does that mean I’m going to jump aboard and join Liberty League. Well before we go and do that let’s take a closer look at things.

Liberty League has been around the block now for quite some time. Several yrs in fact. Brent Payne and Shane Krider are the founders of Liberty League. The company is based out of Scotts Dale, Arizona.

Liberty League was founded for two reasons. To give people freedom and the life they always wanted. And by using the personal development products that the company carries you will be given the help you need to get there.

So looking at the business side of the company you can become a member and sell their products. Then you have the personal development side of Liberty League where you use the products to better you life.

Brent Payne and Shane Krider had a great idea to market personal development products for their business. However if you were to ask me the price tag that’s attached to Liberty League’s products seems to be too high for the average consumer.

Let’s look at Liberty League’s 3 main products here. 1st we have Beyond Freedom which has a cost of $1495. Second we have the Liberty League Conference which has a cost of $7995. Last we have the Summit Conference which has a cost of $12,995. I won’t go into detail about the products, that would take too much time. Let’s talk a little about numbers though.

You don’t have to go and buy any of Liberty League products to become a member. You just pay $49.95 for your website and your off and running. This is were I see a problem with Liberty League. Before you can make any money with the company you first are going to have to pass up five of your first sales to your sponsor. Then you can make money for yourself.

Liberty League gives you the option to buy the Beyond Freedom Program. Then you will only have to pass up your first two sales as oppose to your first five sales. Personally I don’t recommend being a part of any company that uses a pass up style program. Newer online companies have started to get away from this type of program.

There Are businesses that unlike Liberty League can have you making money right out of the gate. And this is because you don’t have to pass up all or any of your first sales to your sponsor. Although Liberty League has some good products, it’s the price of the products and the flawed compensation plan that makes me come to the conculsion that you can find a better business than Liberty League.

| Liberty League | Will You Make Money |

by Tom Culbertson

Here we will take a detailed look at Liberty League’s compensation plan. Let’s find out if you can really make money with Liberty League.

Liberty League has been around now for quite a few years. Chances are if you’ve been looking for a home based business you already stumbled on to Liberty League and are looking to find out a little more about the company before you join. One of the most important things to look for in any online business is the compensation plan.

In this article I’m going to focus primarily on Liberty League’s compensation plan. It’s the most important thing to look for in any home business so that’s what were going to concentrate on. Most people will tell you that Liberty League has a 2-Up compensation plan. This is partially but not completely true. A 2-Up program simply means that you will have to pass up your first two sales to your sponsor before you can then make money for yourself.

Now while a guess you could say it’s true that Liberty League has a 2-Up program, your really not getting the whole story. When you are ready to join Liberty League you have two options. You can join at a cost of only $49.95 but if you do this you will have to pass up your first five sales to your sponsor and not just two.

With Liberty League you will have to buy the Beyond Freedom Program to be able to pass up 2 instead of 5 of your first sales. The program has a cost of $1495. This is where most people get confused thinking that Liberty League is only a 2-Up.

So technically you could say Liberty League is both a 2-Up and a 5-Up. But it doesn’t just stop there. Liberty League has two more products and this is where the chance to make the big money with Liberty League comes to play. The other two products are conferences. The first is the Liberty Conference and the second is the Summit Conference.

If you’d like to be able to sell these Liberty League conferences and make money on them you are first required to purchase the conferences for yourself. Just so you know these conference tickets do not include your air fare, hotel stay, transportation, or food. Also before you can make any money you will have to pass up your first four sales for both the Liberty Conference and the Summit Conference. That’s a total of 8 more sales before your at the top income level with Liberty League which is the Summit Level.

Now let’s consider some more costs. The Liberty League website is $49.95 a month. To have access to the daily conference calls is another $99.00 every three months. So far the total comes out to $995 but we now need to include marketing expenses. It’s safe to say that you will spend at least $100.00 dollars a month in marketing expenses for Liberty League. Combine all the totals for everything and you have spent around $5,700 just to make 7,000. These numbers aren’t looking very promising here.

I’d recommend passing on Liberty League. There compensation plan is very old school and there marketing techniques are very limited and almost entirely done off-line. There are companies out there where you’ll have a much better chance of success. I don’t believe Liberty League is one of them.

Dedicated Web Hosting : Why Choose A Dedicated Web Server

by Ray Lam

Dedicated servers could be quite costly, so individuals and companies who opt to make use of them would have to maximize their functionality. Through the optimum utilization of dedicated web servers, business owners would be able to run and manage their company successfully.

A dedicated server for your web hosting allows you to have a server solely dedicated to your site(s). In addition, a dedicated server will allow you complete authority to control and administer your server. When and if you decide on a dedicated server for your web hosting, you should have a fair understanding of dedicated servers. Although most dedicated server web hosting providers will provide technical support, you will find it a lot easier if you have the technical expertise to manage the server yourself. However, if you find that you will not be able to manage your server by yourself, opt for a managed dedicated server hosting. This option is especially for those who want to have dedicated web hosting but do not have the required expertise to manage it. This service allows you to have an entire server managed by a specialized hosting company. The cost of a managed dedicated server is quite expensive. Therefore, if you think that you can run and manage your website server by yourself, you should opt for an unmanaged dedicated server web hosting rather than a managed dedicated server.

In case of dedicated servers, users would be able to get around 50 to 100 gigabytes of hard drive when using a web server. Users would also be able to have about 1,000 gigabytes of data and file transfer. The user would be able to customize these based on his own website requirements. With the utilization of a dedicated web server, the dependency of the user on the web hosting provider decreases and time delays due to slow downloading are avoided.

Since a dedicated server web hosting does not share its server with other websites (like shared web hosting), you will find that you have a lot more command over your server operation and its bandwidth. One of the advantageous features of dedicated server web hosting is that it can also be remotely configured and operated. The only obstacle is the cost. You are required to pay a lot more for your dedicated server web hosting as compared to your shared web hosting. Nevertheless, the facilities more than compensate for the cost.

Before deciding if a dedicated server is for you, you should consider the level of your website. If you operate a small business or a basic website, a dedicated server is likely not the best choice. However, if you have a high traffic, large, and massive website, a dedicated server will be the likely choice.

Tips And Advice on Small Business Web Hosintg

by Ray Lam

There are many things to consider when selecting the best small business web hosting. With all the options and features available in the web hosting industry, it may be a good idea to take time out to educate yourself on what is the best type of small business web hosting. Your particular needs are crucial in finding the best web hosting for your small business.

There are three categories of web sites. Personal/Small Business Homepages, E-Commerce, and Information sites. The type of web hosting you choose will depend on what category your business falls into. Your small business may be related to information and small business services. This is one reason why it’s important to find out what small business web hosting is best for your situation. You may not need the expensive types of hosting services that some people need for large sites. With a small business you usually do not need the massive disk space and bandwidth large E-Commerce business sites need for their hosting needs.

Even if you don’t initially require all the attributes connected with a really good website hosting plan, the benefits to buying one will ensure you will make web site hosting arrangements that fit all your requirements.

The best way to find a reputable web hosting company is to find current customers and ask them some questions. In order to truly understand how their customer service and reliability measure up, you will need to get past their website and see what other people have to say. For example, if you choose a company based solely on its price, you could be losing money in the long run if the server is constantly down.

If you are a qualified webmaster, then you may perhaps require the lucrative alternative to build up your online presence and that is the reason why many web hosting companies have developed the most dependable small business hosting deals. You get admission to protected and high-performance servers and reliable infrastructure, and can take advantage of the specialized and low-priced small business hosting plans offered by such companies.

Is The Reverse Funnel System A Scam? Read This Review

by Joe Marquez

If you’re in the process of the seeking a home based business to either leave your job or simply make more money, I’m willing to bet that you have become quite familiar with Ty Coughlin’s Reverse Funnel System. It seems to be everywhere. If that name doesn’t ring a bell, perhaps you’re more familiar with the capture page with the shirtless, long haired beach bum lounging in a chair with a laptop. It’s really picked up some steam over the past year or so and they’ve made some very bold claims as to how much money members are making. I’m sure you asked yourself if “$5,000-$10,000 per week” and “6 and 7 figure returns” were really possible. Well, it’s not really a question of whether or not it is possible but if it is ORDINARY for most members. I’d like to shed some light on these claims and propose an alternative choice that may change your mind about the Reverse Funnel System.

First, let’s pick apart the process and examine each piece. Everyone starts out by filling out an “application” which costs $50. Once that is finished, you are provided with all of the details on the system. You then learn that the Reverse Funnel System actually promotes another company known as Global Resorts Network. It’s a travel membership club that offers discounted stays at high end resorts, and the $3,000 start up cost is ACTUALLY a fee for signing up with Global Resorts Network. So basically, you have to put your confidence in the Reverse Funnel System and decide if they are the best program to help you earn profits with Global Resorts Network.

Now, one thing to immediately consider in your evaluation of the Reverse Funnel System is the COST. It costs $3,000 to join, around $2,000 to $5,000 in startup advertisement costs, and then a $300 monthly recurring fee. That rings up for a total of $5,000-$8,000 up front, then $300 a month..That’s a LOT! Especially for a middle income class individual. The only person who can look at those figures and say “Let’s do this now!” are people who already have money to invest and most likely look at these types of opportunities to further INCREASE their riches, not MAKE them. So what does this mean? It means that if you join, a large majority of the people you are marketing to are people WITH money. The little guy is pretty much left out of the picture, and that’s a lot of potential prospects thrown out of the window.

Furthermore, what can we learn from knowing the suggested advertisement budget? We can determine that the Reverse Funnel System relies heavily on paid advertisement. So those who have more money to invest have a higher probability of success. Sounds like an unfair advantage to me.

There are countless methods for driving traffic to any given website. With most programs like the Reverse Funnel System, that’s your only job. You are given a high conversion website that turns visitors into buyers, and all you have to do is get visitors. With the Reverse Funnel System, it’s clear that they favor paid advertisement as their means of acquiring those visitors. How about the countless types of free advertisement? I highly doubt that the Reverse Funnel System places a focus on them.

Also, what if the price tag that the Reverse Funnel System carries is outside of your budget? Does that mean that the less expensive options won’t be as good? Some would think so; but the cost of a program doesn’t exactly determine how successful you’ll be with it.

This brings me to my next topic. Given the all the necessary tools, training, and information do you think it’d be possible to succeed with any online business; simply because you know what you’re doing? If you’ve never done internet marketing before I’ll go ahead and answer that for you…NO. Not yet at least. I hope you don’t take offense to that, but it’s true. Whether a program is good or bad, for some reason there’s always someone making money; and it is typically due to their experience and knowledge. If you can drive massive amounts of traffic to any website that sells a product, people are going to buy. As long as the buyer can convince themselves that the item is worth the investment, the transaction is over. This is the case with any product, whether a piece of gum or an expensive car.

What am I getting at? If you know how to properly market online and you can find people looking to buy what you have, you can literally sell anything. It’s an invaluable skill. Choose any search engine, type in “home based business” and have your pick of the litter; the experienced marketer can turn a profit from that program. So instead of asking “will this opportunity make me money?”, ask “will this opportunity TEACH me to make money.” A small difference in wording completely changes the question.

The only affiliate program that I have seen with a vested interest in teaching its members how to properly market online is Derrick Harper’s Wealth Funnel System. Similar to other programs available today, it allows its member’s to provide a product that people want. But more importantly, it not only provides access to high yielding ads but it properly educates people how to market online, PERIOD. It doesn’t just teach blind advertisement, like other competitors. This ensures your success with not only the Wealth Funnel System, but any other online business you encounter. The fortune is in the skill set.

This concludes my article on the Reverse Funnel System. I hope it’ll be of assistance in your evaluation of Ty Coughlin’s opportunity. No matter what business you decide to pursue, make sure that your success is dependent on your own efforts and not just the promises of the company.

Wishing you the best, Joe Marquez
