One of the hottest sites to come out of the Web 2.0 phenomenon is Squidoo. If you are not building sites to Squidoo, you are missing one of the quickest and easiest ways to build free traffic for your website or blog.

Squidoo is a cross between a blog, a mini site, and a My Space page. Squidoo calls the sites “lenses” and the people who produce the sites are called “lensmasters.”

Squidoo lenses are very easy to make, even if you have not ever built a website or blog before. You can have a lens up and running in as little as 15 minutes.

Squidoo lenses are made up of “modules”. Squidoo has dozens of modules to choose from. There are modules for making lists. There are modules for You Tube videos. There are modules for Amazon and Ebay auctions. With a little knowledge of the module system, you can have your lens built in no time.

Why Do You Need To Eat Out Every Day?

Eating out with friends and workmates can be truly enjoyable, but is it really necessary? How is it affecting your budget? Is it because of peer pressure? This should be taken seriously, since eating out can become a large monthly expense.

Everybody wants to fit in, and it’s important to do so in an office work environment. Since eating lunch with co-workers only costs a few dollars and helps establish friendships, why not?

This scenario demonstrates how we think when it comes to spending money on food. Food and good times seem to go together in our culture. Eating out is not the only way to bond over food.

A good budget always has a section for groceries. Eating out when there are plenty of groceries at home is an extra, unnecessary expense that doesn’t help you stick to your budget.

Most people really like eating together with their workmates. But you can eat together without eating out. Make a plan to bring a packed lunch from home at least three days a week and explain how much money you’re saving while you enjoy each other’s company.

When you eat out, you probably choose the same one or two places. Make some of your favorite dishes at home and take them for lunch. The grocery trips are not just for breakfast and dinner items. Buy foods that are good in a packed lunch. Most workplaces have a microwave and/or a toaster oven. You can prepare your food and eat it piping hot.

You could set up a lunch club with a group of co-workers, too. If you tend to eat lunch together anyway, assign each person a day to prepare lunch for the whole group. That way each person only has to make one lunch every week and everyone gets to eat an exciting variety of meals.

Since such a lunch club arrangement will mean spending more on groceries, you’ll need to adjust your budget slightly. As other people at work notice all the benefits of your lunch club, more people will no doubt join in. The more the merrier, since it will make things easier on everyone else in the club. Lunches don’t have to be a big deal. Even simple and inexpensive dishes can be delicious.

All these plans don’t mean that you can never go out to eat. Make dining out part of your budget and pay with cash so that you won’t be able to spend too much. If you eat lunch out, don’t allow yourself to again for dinner. Balancing your expenses this way will help you develop great financial habits.

If, despite your best efforts, your lunch time group wants to go out to eat more than you can with your current budget, don’t give into the peer pressure. If you explain the reason why in a nice way, they’ll respect your decision and remain your friends, not to mention that you will have gotten some great experience saving your money despite the influence of the crowd.

So you want to make money in World of Warcraft eh?
Well it’s easier than you think as long as you have the know-how. I remember my first character which was a rogue on the Whisperwind server. I rushed as fast as I could to level 40 so that I could get a mount, but a huge problem rose in front of me. I didn’t even have close to the amount of gold I needed to get that damn mount. How the hell was I suppsoed to be able to afford this thing??

It all starts with professions. Simple as this. Be a collector. skinning/mining or herbalism, enchanting. Collect materials that people need. Even a noob could exploit this. Let me give an example.

A mining profession will allow you to gather copper and iron ores. These can be made into to bars to sell to the blacksmiths at the auction houses. The herbalism profession will allow you to gather various herbs that can be sold at the auction houses also. So as you can see, it is not that difficult to make gold in world of warcraft, but it can be time consuming.

Quests in the Elwynn forest require me to visit a few mines so I keep “Find Minerals” skill on and hunt every wolf around the zone(btw there are a ton in this zone so skinning shouldn’t be much of a problem). While I am questing through the mines(especially Jasperlode and there is one more in this zone) I am gaining exp while gathering materials to sell at the AH.

Expand your storage. By using this tip, you can sell more items that you find while you are leveling or questing. Your inventory will fill up quickly unless you upgrade to bags that have more slots. When your inventory gets full, just sell everything that is not vital and start over again. Practicing this will ensure that you are making gold while you quest and level.

Choose the right quest rewards. If a NPC is offering you a choice of rewards for a given quest, picking the one that is worth the most will help you get more income. As a rough rule, weapons are generally worth more than other items, especially if they are two-handed weapons. If you have to pick armor, plate is worth more than mail, mail is worth more than leather, and so on.
