What To DO When Finding Bad Credit Bank Accounts

by Joe Boyd

Many difficulties arise when you find yourself with bad credit. While some credit options may still be available, many find no options at all. A lot of people assume that their bank accounts are directly linked to their lines of credit. This is not usually the case. Checking accounts are usually only denied when a person owes a banking institution money.

The only time this really ever happens is if a checking account with overdraft protection is overdrawn. The new account is usually denied when the amount is not paid back. Finding a bank that will provide you with a bank account while you have a bank account in the negative can be tricky.

It may be possible to go out and obtain a savings account in these situations. What usually happens is that you simply find the existence of unpaid accounts you had forgotten about. You are not likely able to obtain a new account, this is mostly due to the new homeland security measures put into effect recently. Before these new security measures most banks would not have performed credit checks on those who simply want a savings account. The new laws stipulate that credit checks and even background checks be performed on all new applicants. Therefore, if you owe money you may not be eligible to open a savings account.

For the most part, you are going to have to pay what you owe, and even then you may have to wait to find bad credit bank accounts. Once you have paid off your debt, you can go to a different bank to see if they will give you a checking account. Normally, they will not want to do this right away, but once you have cleared the debt you may be able to get bad credit bank accounts in the form of savings only. Savings accounts are not as useful as checking accounts, but they usually come with ATM cards for easy access to your money.

If you have paid off your debt and you find that a new bank account has been denied you at first, do not despair, you can reapply after 6 to 12 months have elapsed. This is customary for the banks protection and to provide you with sufficient time to build up your financial situation.

Be patient, not all banks offer these services and you may have to do some shopping before your find one that does. Try performing your research online, you may even find some exclusive banks that are only online. These may provide exactly what you are looking for, a second chance financially.

Secrets to Successfully Playing the Wine Auction Game

by KC Kudra

Wine auctions are big business these days, and although you may not have given it much thought, there are becoming more and more popular both online and offline. Private companies are getting rid of their end of ranges, estates are liquidating production ends, and charities are using wine auctions as fundraisers.

Auctioneers forecast a continued but subdued market for wine auctions this year. Wine auctions are the perfect way to find those hard-to-find wine gems, if you know what you are looking for or just to pick up a bargain.

The publicity that the oldest and most expensive wines sold at auction garner, might give many consumers the idea that wine auctions are for connoisseurs and the very rich. In most cases, this is a mistaken assumption. In some of the better-publicized wine auctions for charity, you can make a charitable donation and in return receive a delectable bottle of wine.

Live wine auctions are exactly as you have seen them in the movies, great fun! Apart from the high profile sales Like that of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s spectacular sale, most wine auctions are a cozy affair; 70% of winning bids come from the trade, so there is 30% up for grabs at bargain prices for the likes of you and I.

While there are a number of well-heeled patrons bidding in the thousands for a single bottle of a specialty offering, wine auctions are mainly made up of donations made to local charities in exchange for a bottle of wine. With online auctions, research can be done prior to bidding. After an auction has concluded, a would-be bidder can use the prices of that auction to get a good idea of the going rate for various bottles of wine. This way, you will be very prepared when the next auction starts. Online wine sales allow prospective visitors the time to do great background searches of the databases to ascertain what to bid.

Wine auctions are not only fun, but also they are exciting as well. At times, this can lead to impulse buying with a punter paying a higher price than they normally would. Research is the key to staying in the bargain range and out of the fleeced range. Avoid getting carried away. Auctions bring fine, old wines to market that ordinarily stay in wine cellars until they go bad.

Wine auctions have become the preferred place to sell these wines, when you can often get a bargain. Auctions are typically set up around lunches for obvious reasons and most of the heavy bidding occurs during the middle of the day. What a way to enjoy your purchase!

Emerald Passport – Internet Business Review

by Brian Turk

Emerald Passport is known for their attractive movie presentation that is designed to capture their audience’s attention, before even speaking to a sponsor within the business. They have been around for almost 5 years now, and seem to be going very strong.

Emerald Passport offers several products to paid members after joining the businesses. They offer products which include personal development, real estate training courses, and Financial Planning. All of these products are available instantly upon joining the business. This business is geared towards self improvement, and builind a life full of abundance.

Emerald Passport follows the traditional Australian 2 up compensation payment plan. This means that you would be entitled to pass up your first two sales to your sponsor before you are considered to be commission qualified. Then each sale after that you will be fully qualified and will make money on each and every sale. However, at this time your sponsor will not have an incentive to work with you, because they will no longer make any money on your sales. Then you will be on your own to generate each and every sale, which might not be so bad if you are an experienced Internet Marketer.

Emerald Passport startup costs would be $1295 if joining at the basic level. At this level you would have access to all of the wealth building materials that are geared towards changing your life for the better. They also offer two upper tier programs which consist of Self Improvement conferences. The cost for these two conferences are $8000, and $13000

In conclusion, Emerald Passport does offer some very nice products in the personal development arena. However, the prices are rather steep, considering Tony Robbins who is a well known motivational speaker does not even charge this much for his services. In addition, the thought of passing up your first two sales to your sponsor, before being fully qualified in order to earn money was not for me.

Use Your Business Credit Card to Increase Your Success

by Nick Makaryk

When just starting a business, or extending an existing one, there is definitely going to be some sort of debt involved. This debt should only be what you would expect it to be, and what is covered within your business plan. If your business doesn’t do well, you will have a price to pay, especially when it comes to your business’ future.

Having a business credit card is an ideal way to purchase things that are necessary in order for your small business or new business to succeed. This card is similar to the line of credit that is given to larger and further established companies.

The quickest and easiest way to locate and apply for a business credit that suits your needs is online. You can often receive conditional approval within twenty four hours, and sometimes immediately. Once you have received your new business credit card, you need to use it responsibly in order to avoid monthly repayments you can’t afford and debt levels that get you into trouble.

You can probably appreciate exactly how the credit card company feels when you do not meet your payments in a timely manner or maybe even skip a payment altogether because this may happen to you from time to time with your customers. If you find that you face regular problems making your payment on the due date, you could ask the credit card company to alter the date so you do not get hit with so many charges for paying late or for not paying at all.

The business credit card comes with a lot of benefits. It can be seen as a privilege loan and can be used when needed. However, this should only be taken advantage of when there is no other choice. If you keep visiting the ATM and taking out $100 here and $250 there in place of a cash system, it all soon adds up, and the high interest will come into the picture because many credit cards put high rates on advances that are much higher than the balance on the card. It’s very important that basic bills are paid each month. To do this, set up direct payment from your business credit card online to the vendors you work with.

Instead of distributing many checks to different people, you can simply write out one check to cover all of them. This makes accounting a lot easier. This also allows you to keep track of payments records that can be checked at any time.

All businesses encounter fluctuations, some by the season which are predictable and others which are sudden and totally unexpected. This is the reason why you need to keep payments for debt up to date so you have something to fall back on if necessary.

If you manage your credit card properly, you will be able to build a good credit rating which will stand you in good stead if you need to increase your credit limit during lean times and take advantage of cash advances.

The Basics on Credit Scores

by William Blake

Your credit score gets checked whenever you try to apply for a credit card, apply for a loan, or make any kind of credited purchase. Your credit score is basically a number that represents how trustworthy the business world believes you to be as far as making your payments is concerned, a higher number indicating more confidence in your ability to pay. Your credit score is derived from information found in a credit report.

All the financial activity you have engaged in over the past seven years is recorded in your credit report. If you have filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy or closed an account that had been in good standing, this will continue to appear in your credit report for ten years.

Your three digit credit score is calculated based on a formula developed by credit report companies. They go over information connected to your credit history to determine your score. California established a law in 2000 that allows anyone applying for credit to have access to their credit score. Now federal law permits you access to information that the credit card companies used to keep secret, like how your credit score is determined.

The breakdown of your credit score is fairly easy. The number ranges from 300 to 900 with approximately 35% of that number being based on payment history, 30% on outstanding debt, 15% on the length of time you have had credit (the longer the better), 10% on the number of inquires on your report, and 10% on the types of credit that you currently have. The companies then compare this to credit performances of other consumers with similar histories and profiles to reach your magic credit score.

Suggestions for improving your credit score:

– Maintain your credit rotating at about 25% of your total credit limit.

– Don’t be late paying. Making payments earlier than necessary does not incur any penalty.

– When trying to get a loan, shop around for one during a period of thirty days so that all requests made to check your credit score are considered to be one total request.

– Know your credit score. Each year, you can check your credit score for free by visiting annualcreditreport.com. Doing so will help you prevent problems from escalating until they create large problems.

What Are All the Types of Mutual Funds Available?

by Amy Nutt

When it comes down to it, there are thousands of choices when it comes to investing in mutual funds. The only way you’re going to know which fund is the best for you is by assessing the investment strategy of that fund and looking at the risks that are associated with it. This is important to do so that you can find the mutual fund that is the right fit for you. If not, it is like putting your shoes on the wrong feet. You’re not going to be able to stand on your feet for too long. Finding the right fit means that you can stay in the game and actually benefit from it financially.

But since there are thousands of choices, we’re just going to discuss the main categories that mutual funds fall into. Those funds are:

1. Money market funds – These are funds that have a lower risk compared to many of the other funds out there. It is mandated by law that money market funds are only able to invest in short-term investments that are of a high quality. These investments can only be made in U.S. companies and the different levels of government. The good news is that investor losses are quite rare, but they have happened. This is more or less the type of fund utilized by those who do not like risk.

2. Bond funds, or fixed income funds – These mutual funds have a higher risk than money market funds. The reason why the risk is higher is because these are the funds that tend to seek out higher returns. These types of mutual funds are not restricted to a certain type of investment like money market funds are. Most importantly, their risks can vary. Such risks include: a credit risk because certain parties may not pay the bills, interest rate risks because the value of these bonds can go down when the interest rate goes up, and prepayment risks because the bond issuer may decide to pay off debt to issue new bonds when the interest rate falls.

3. Global equity growth funds – The value of these mutual funds can rise and fall very quickly over a short period of time. However, they do tend to perform better over the long-term, making this a fund that a lot of long-term investors embark upon. These tend to be the riskiest of the funds, but funds tend to have higher returns when they are extremely risky. It just depends on what type of risk you want to take.

4. Balanced funds – These funds consist of different types of investments such as bonds, common and preferred stocks, and short-term bonds. This avoids too much risk and gives the investor the opportunity to receive income and capital appreciation. These types of mutual funds give the investor the opportunity for both growth and income. These investments tend to manage the downturn of the stock market better. That means there is not as much loss associated with these funds.

So now you know the different types of funds. Now it is just a matter of sifting through the thousands of funds within them that can yield great profits or large growth. It depends on what type of risk you are prepared to take with your money. Just keep in mind that the greater the risk the higher the return tends to be. However, the greater risk can also result in money being lost. Once that money is lost, it can’t be recovered. So you have to ask yourself whether a short-term investment is best for you or if you are willing to go on in for the long haul.

HD TV Stands

by Charlie Reese

HDTV Stands Housing your Home Theater

Alright, so you’ve convinced yourself into buying that new LCD or plasma HDTV. You’re spending more than a thousand dollars on it, and you’re convinced it’s going to look great in your living room. However when you bring it home, you realize that your old wood stand looks antiquated and ugly holding up that sleek, almost futuristic screen. You need something snazzy for it, and for pittance more, you can buy an HDTV stand that will complement your HDTV perfectly, giving it the look you’ve always wanted it to have.

Features and Looks

HDTV stands combine sleek looks with strong materials and easy accessibility for the perfect combination to complement your home theater. Many have metal frames which can hold hundreds of pounds (more than your HDTV will ever need, but it’s nice to know that nothing will break the stand), and glass panels allow your DVD players and surround sound receivers to receive commands from your remote control, so you don’t have to open up the HDTV stand just to use your television. Not only that, but glass has a very futuristic feel, and newer manufacturing processes have resulted in stronger materials, so you don’t have to worry about it breaking.

Of course, if you don’t like the whole steel and glass look, you can always go with a wooden HDTV stand. Many of these can include glass as well if you so choose, or you can buy entirely wood HDTV stands, but you won’t get the added benefit of being able to use devices inside the stand without opening up the doors. While a small point, many people do enjoy the convenience. On the other hand, many people do not enjoy looking at their electronics as they watch movies or television, or they might think that they look ugly and would like to hide them behind pristine wood doors.

So what would you expect to pay for these HDTV stands? Hundreds of dollars? Other pieces of furniture can cost thousands, and you will probably only pay two or three hundred for a beautiful television stand, and the metal stands are generally cheaper than the wooden ones. In fact, many television companies sell their HDTVs with stands because it’s more affordable for them to bundle products together, and you can often get great deals on HDTV stands when you buy an HDTV.

Of course, an HDTV stand should be the last item on your list when purchasing a new television. The quality of the other components comes first, and you’d probably be less happy with a stand than with beautiful, crystalline sound coming from that awesome new surround sound system. Depending on your budget, you might have to choose which part of your home theater you can’t afford at the moment, and at the very least, you’ll probably find it beneficial to buy a cheap HDTV stand as opposed to skimping out on other audio and video components.

The Best Blue Ray Technology

by Charlie Reese

Before Upgrading Learn What Blue Ray Is

With the confusion over the current format war between HD-DVD and Blue ray, the average consumer is unlikely to know specific strengths and selling points for either of them. To learn what Blue ray is, you have to understand the technology that makes it work, what movie studios endorse this format, and some other points that will be covered below. Especially if you are looking to upgrade, you will definitely want to learn what Blue ray is to make an informed decision.

Red Versus Blue Lasers

When a person asks, ?what is Blue ray?? they probably don’t know that the answer lies within the question itself. The average consumer is unlikely to be able to tell the difference between a Blue ray and DVD disc because they’re the same shape and size. However, a Blue ray player uses a blue (and violet) laser to record and read data, be it video, audio, or any other type of data found on optical media, hence the name ?Blue ray.? Because the technological processes to achieve this require much smaller and finer equipment, the initial costs of Blue ray are higher than DVD’s. However, as the manufacturing process matures, the costs will come sharply down over the following years.

As a point of comparison to learn what Blue ray is, think of it to a standard DVD as a personal computer to a calculator. Both the PC and calculator can perform math, but the PC is much more powerful. Just like that example, both DVD’s and Blue ray discs play movies, but Blue ray is capable of doing that much better by playing better video and audio.

While learning what Blue ray is, it is also useful for the consumer to understand which major movie studios support the format. Some popular titles are only available on HD-DVD, while many others are available on Blue ray. As of January 2008, a person with a Blue ray player won’t be able to get the hit 2007 blockbuster Transformers on Blue ray, while the hit James Bond flick Casino Royale is available only on Blue ray (however, all movies are still released on standard DVD; these comparisons are just for next gen video formats). There are hybrid players which can play both movie formats, but some movies are only available on one format or another. Ultimately, you should now know what Blue ray is to help you decide when you want to upgrade and to which format.

Get Cheaper Vacation Homes With Ease

by Chris Channing

Vacation is what summer is all about- getting away from a job, school, or even other things in life that stress people out throughout the year. As many know, vacations are often too expensive to do anything too extravagant- although there are some ways to cut costs of vacation homes and stay in paradise longer.

For the wealthy, the option of just buying a vacation home outright is going to be the best solution. Even some middle class families might see this as a good idea, but they shouldn’t forget that taxes and upkeep costs are going to factor into the equation as well. If a vacation property seems like it is stretching the budget a little to buy outright, not to worry- there are plenty of alternatives.

We’ve all learned at a young age that sharing was the best thing to do- and this holds true with vacation properties. Many real estate owners will set up what is called a time share property, which allows multiple families to buy the property and share the costs. Of course, this means that each family can only visit the property around 33% of the year, but then again the costs are dramatically reduced.

Most families that go on vacation will use hotels and motels as their primary source of lodging. But if they are staying in the same location, opting for a self catered property is probably the best route to undertake. Self catered properties allow consumers to buy properties that are already built for the vacationing family- complete with furniture and appliances.

A vacation property is going to be worth less money than usual in months that aren’t considered to be vacationing months. This depends on the location, but many places will have less favorable weather conditions or certain holidays that are typically observed at home. If one is willing to try something new, they can often get dirt cheap prices on vacation property by simply finding properties in the right month.

A new type of vacationing has become possible thanks to the Internet. This type of vacationing is simple- you trade houses with someone else over the Internet, some type of agreement on length of stay is observed, and the transaction is basically free minus travel costs. This can have some trust issues involved, but as long as things are kept safe and planning is done, this is a great way to save money on a vacation.

Closing Comments

Next time you are in the market for a new vacation, consider reviewing the above pieces of advice in finding the most cost effective solution. If you are still at a loss, consider the prospect of trading properties to cut the costs down to absolutely nothing at all.

Six Figure Yearly Review: What Is Six Figure Yearly?

by David Morris

Most people who come across Six Figure Yearly online get excited by the prospect of earning so much money, though many get a little wary as they’re not told exactly what they will be doing to earn the money. In this Six Figure Yearly review I’ll be teaching you how this program works and if you should be investing your cash in it.

There are lots of things you’re not informed of on the Six Figure Yearly pitch page such as what the package is all about, though I can tell you firstly that it’s not simply one way of making money online but a whole range. The system actually teaches you how to earn an income through various means online.

Many of these methods are quite well-known, though I’ll bet a few of them will be new and fresh to you, such as the method I tested which consists of you signing up as an account manager of several internet-based financial institutions. Basically, you will be managing other people’s cash for them, and being given a small commission on every transaction you complete.

Each time you do any work you will access your account with one of these online institutions and you’ll be presented a list of transactions that must be carried out — the list is basically never-ending and you can continue to work as long as you like.

Each transaction will earn you somewhere between $0.05 and sometimes $5.00 or more, though I found the average to be around $0.50. This might not sound like a whole lot to you though you should consider that you can easily make 100 transactions or more in an hour, meaning you should be able to make $50+ per hour. My best hour ever was around $150, though I’ll admit that I did get lucky by being a lot of large transactions.

Now the great thing is that these financial companies can actually pay you every day providing your payout balance is over $100 (which should be no problem) and they will deposit your funds directly into your bank account. This is what the Six Figure Yearly site was talking about when they spoke about being able to access your funds immediately from any ATM.

I do have a couple of criticisms with this program and the first is about earning figures: I definitely don’t believe you could earn $3500 per day without outside help, though I did manage just over $1000 in my first week only doing 2-3 hours work per day. And secondly I will say the work you’re required to do can get monotonous and boring at times, however you shouldn’t think of this as a downside if it’s making you money.

Quite simply I would recommend this program as it offers a legitimate way of making money online, though I don’t think it will make you $1,000,000 overnight. Whatever you decide to do, I hope this Six Figure Yearly review has helped you to make a more informed decision about this program and you can achieve success with it.
