Now before you go nuts scratching your head, let me define the areas of the tool box. The tool box has three areas.

1)In your head tool box: This is all about how your thinking process works when it comes to investing, and more importantly how open minded you are about investing information. Are you willing to think outside the box in order to look at investment opportunities or must the investment fall within a cookie cutter method you having? In your head means you need to read books, articles, partake in discussions, and basically interact with that big grey hunk of goo that is in your skull.

It is the resaults of the information you have taken in about investing.

IMPORTANT ELEMENT. While we all know that a zillion books have been written about investing. It is important to understand that you MUST have some knowledge from that book…WHY? Because if you understand what other investors are reading?it actually makes it easier to work with them since you understand where they are getting their basic tactics and understanding from, that helps steer them to the investments THEY are making.

The E-tool box: Your online tool box. What websites are you useing online over and over. Most real estate investors only use a few sites. I have found this can lead to a sort of tunnel vision or what I call “INFO INPUT SHUT DOWN”.

How do you avoid the INFO SHUT DOWN…easy…open your tool box to get more tools/ info.

Simply put you create an email address and when you come across a site you think may be a useful reference you join up for the newsletter they email out. They send it to your “Info email account” and you can go thru the emails as you choose. I must warn you however.

Now dont be to hasty and unsubscribe after the first email. More often then hot the newsletter/updates dont deliver the “meaty info” in the begining…more often then not it comes as a series of newsletters. Look for Investment clubs that offer news letters as well as blog sites, news sites, etc. Any reference sits you can find I recommend bookmarking.

I ,myself, avoid most ad based emailing lists. however, that doesnt mean that all of them are a waste of time. review a few and decide for yourself if they are worth keeping.

The most inportant sites to me are the ones that make the investing game easier. sites that offer me something for free or VERY little cost out of my pocket. Some websites have tools that you just cant wait to try out. (I will admit I have a few sites I visit daily just to play around on and try out the tools they offer) When you find them you will know it…once agian bookmark them.

3) Actual physical tools: these are the tools you can actually touch and use when you?re making offers, inspecting property, or doing any one of the other hundreds of things that a good investor does before making an investment commitment. Most of these tools fit in a small briefcase or shoulder bag. These tools can be anything from flashlights, small inspection tools, to calculators etc. So in a nut shell that is all there is to a tool box.

So there it is..the outline to your toolbox. Build one…update it often..and USE IT DAILY.

If you have a preteen in your life, you probably have been assaulted with a flow of chatter about a movie called High School Musical. Even if you do not know a preteen, you cannot have escaped the unprecedented popularity of this film. Seldom has a made-for-television movie made such a splash, but Disney knew it had a mega hit on its hands from the day of its premier, January 20, 2006.

High School Musical has exhibited unprecedented success. The movie’s soundtrack was the most popular album of 2006. The show launched books, an ice show, a video game, and a stage musical. Naturally, a sequel was produced and aired in 2007. High School Musical is so sensational that it has the distinction of becoming the first made-for-television movie with a theatrically released sequel: High School Musical 3: Senior Year will premier in October, 2008.

What is the fascination? The story follows much of the classic fundamental structure familiar in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Two high school juniors from opposing cliques “click” with one another as they secretly audition for their school’s musical. Their backgrounds as basketball star and math brainiac certainly do not lend themselves to selection for to be stars in a musical. Their relationship and their auditioning prove to be explosive elements within the school, and all sorts of conniving ensues.

The characters in this movie appeal to the preteen set largely because they are going through many of the same problems in finding themselves and then having the courage to actually be themselves. The movie’s message, to have the guts to shake up the status quo, is stimulating to young people. And, of course, the music rocks!
