With life coming at you so fast, it is important to stay abreast of the latest technological terms.

CNET is probably one of the most valuable tools you can use when it comes time to buy your hand held device.

The reviews come from its outstanding performance and speed. The HX4700 is operating on Windows Mobile 2003 2nd Edition and has the capabilities of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, along with a 624 MHz XScale processor from Hewlett Packard. The four inch screen is unbelievable with its color pixels and it features a replaceable battery to ensure that documents and other information are not lost when the battery dies. It also features a large quantity of memory and is equipped with Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet Explorer.

If there is a downside to the HX4700, then it’s all in size. It is a bit bulky, but is still a very sleek pocket PC. There is a small handicap present when the user first operates the new touchpad and this can translate into poor gaming, for those that use their pocket PC for gaming in particular. If you are in the market for a pocket PC for gaming purposes, then you may want to turn to Dell’s Axim.

There are other mobile technologies on the market today that can be bought for far less than the HX4700’s price tag. However, few can match its performance power. One of its chief competitors is Apple’s new iPhone, which users have fallen in love with for its extra capabilities, such as the use of an iPod and a gaming Smartphone. Whatever you decide is up to your own unique preferences and your own personal needs.

There are instances where one term can apply to different subjects. One example of this is the term “mobile technologies.” Yes, it does refer to a dual-action processor found in laptops and desktop computers, but it also can refer to the use of technology that you take with you on the go, such as PDAs, pocket PCs and Smartphones. This is an age where you have to be mobile if you are going to stay ahead.

This is the top of the line model, as far as mobile technologies go, and has received fantastic reviews from both users and the editorial staff of CNET. You can find these reviews at www.cnet.com and take a look at the 7.9 and 7.3 reviews. The website gives insight to new gadgets so you can compare, side to side, with other hand held devices.

A recent study suggested that 23% of homes sold in 2004 were originally purchased as a form of an investment. If you think about the substantial returns which people have historically received then this shouldn’t come of too much of a surprise. House prices have increased substantially during recent years. There are still several ways to make money from investing in property.

Flipping

This is when you buy property and then sell it again fairly quickly. This will hopefully generate a fair amount of profit. Alternatively you could keep the property for longer so that you can benefit from tax breaks and capital appreciation. Calculate how much everything will cost and compare it to the tax saved. Also remember to include interest charges, taxes for the properties, insurance and any repairs.

Property values have risen in recent years by quite a substantial amount. However the interest rates are also increasing and so it’s not possible to say when the property market will reach its ceiling price. As you all know it’s not possible to gain anything without any risk.

Apart from the gains by writing the tax off and the appreciation, it may be possible to offset some of the costs by renting the property out. However you must remember that finding tenants is not free, it may well consume a lot of your time and money.

Foreclosures

Another possible form of investment is looking into foreclosures, these are also fairly risky and will require a substantial amount of money. If the owner of a property is not able to maintain regular repayments on the mortgage over a period of several months then the property will be sold as a foreclosure.

Most foreclosed properties need a substantial amount of repair work done on them. Few people that are about to lose their home are bothered about the state of it. You have to be prepared to put in the extra effort to repair this home and get it up to a salable condition. If you personally possess the skills then these types of home may be more attractive than if you have to pay a contractor.

Investing in abandoned property is a very similar thing, there are also some extra legal considerations which you must make. Most foreclosed properties have a clear title, which will be whoever supplied the mortgage. With abandoned properties it can be very confusing to find out who has the title. If buying an abandoned property then make sure you are prepared for any additional legal searches.

If you want to make some profit from the real estate market but don’t want to put any of your cash down, sign contracts, or worry about the property then there are many investments which are just based on paper. Because investment is so popular there are several types of monetization of real estate, such as REIT’s which are real estate investment trusts. There are plenty of others, such as mortgage backed securities, property bonds, mutual funds, trusts, and stocks which are concerned specifically with real estate. Before you invest in any of these it is important you talk to a broker.

As gas prices continue to rise with seemingly no end in sight, energy experts, energy commissions and the people on the street are all looking at every potential alternatives to reliance on gas. One particularly promising option is hydrogen fuel cells. Hydrogen car fuel is not just a subject for exploring new energy horizons it opens up new possibilities in our mode of travel.

Research into hydrogen fuel is quickly proving it’s potential as a leading resource to replace fossil fuels. It is a naturally occurring element that is found in many things including water to many products you will find in your garden. Its abundance in nature means it has a great potential and is seen as a valuable resource that can be tapped into to meet the growing demand for a cheap, clean and reliable source of energy.

Hydrogen fuel for cars is far more efficient and cleaner to produce than fossil fuel. To give you an example: for gasoline production a refinery would process three hundred billion gallons of water, which is itself becoming a more and more valuable and depleted resource; the same amount of hydrogen would require only one million gallons of water, a savings too large to ignore.

The gallon of gasoline equivalent to hydrogen costs about half as much as gasoline but improves fuel economy by over two-thirds more. Hydrogen fuel also decreases engine operating temperatures, all but eliminating emissions as well as the unwanted carbon footprint.

A big problem hindering the production of hydrogen-fueled vehicles is the lack of available hydrogen fuel. In the future, home hydrogen refueling stations may become a realistic possibility, but they are not currently affordable for most people.

If cars ran only on electricity that was generated on board via hydrogen fuel, we would see a new horizon in vehicle design. The equipment needed for propelling a car would be far more basic, and much smaller–thereby eliminating the problem of design limitations. Some such limitations involve having to account for a heat-producing engine, as well as bulky floorboard configurations which are required for driveline equipment currently.

Clean, cost effective and environmentally safe, hydrogen is the fuel of our future. As hydrogen production increases and becomes more available, fueling stations will open and we will reap the savings and environmental benefits of using hydrogen for cars. So, as the gas prices see little chance of going back to old lows, the advancement of hydrogen fuel technology will continue apace as more money is put into research and development by governments and corporations alike.
