In the preparation of planning travel to a foreign country, it is easy to forget that a good map can be just as useful as a guidebook. Under some circumstances, travel maps may even help to get you out of a dicey situation, and can sometimes lead you to undiscovered, reach places your guidebook did not show you. International travelers should recognize the value of travel maps as crucial to advance planning, because often local sources can be both difficult to find and unreliable.

The reason most people avoid travel maps is the confusion arising from the question, Which one should I purchase? Even if they get the right map, they have no clue about its usage. The travel map gives full information about a particular area and helps the user to locate certain features depicted there. The larger the map, more the information. More details are shown on such maps, whereas smaller maps provide a wider view of the area.

There are certain symbols shown on the travel maps. These are depicted in the cartographer’s shorthand. There are travel maps that are so detailed that they give guidance regarding every main building and every street with its name. They do not follow any conventions, but go by their own particular style.

The topographical map indicates the physical features of a place. The forests, marshes, roads, railways, other means of communication, water sources, type of terrain–all these are depicted on the map. They could be natural or man-made. So a traveler may opt for such a map or a thematic one or a combination of both.

Thematic maps can be tourist maps and trekking maps. Tourist maps do not present the geography of the area in detail. They just point out the museums, picnic areas, main cities and beaches. Main roads, established sites and walks can all be seen on tourist maps. The trekking map explains well-known trekking routes. The main features on these routes like canyons and ridges, rivers and settlements are shown here. The explorer who wants to go off the beaten track better go in for a more detailed map of the area.

Immuno Assay (IA) This is whereby antibodies are used as mirror images to track down illegal cells and if they find one they bond to the molecular cell. They can also detect the metabolites which are produced when the illegal substance enters the body. The test though is only as good as the antibodies that are employed as they could ending up bonding to some other body that is not an illegal substance, but still producing a negative test result.

This would be a rare occurrence, through. This would be what is called a false positive result. Immunoassay has produced false positives with some decongestants and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Therefore, if you know immunoassay is being used to test your sample, avoid these two classes of drugs prior to the event.

Types of Immunoassay: The two preferred IA techniques used today are Radio immunoassay (RIA) and fluorescence polarization immunoassay (FPIA). RIA is administered in detecting certain 17-alpha-methyl, 17-alpha ethyl, and 19-nortesterone anabolic steroids. The enzyme Multiplied immunoassay technique (EMIT) is the best performer; so if you aren’t certain which of the tests will be used, then concentrate on beating EMIT. If you fail the EMIT test, then you will probably be given the very sensitive GC/MS test, just as confirmation.

Each drug can be tested for by GC/MS but you must remember that the drug clearance times are a lot different from person to person.

Important Notes 3/4 for THE DREADED DECA: This steroid can still be detected in the body up to 18 months after your last shot. The good new is that there is no known test for the use of growth hormone or insulin, so you can go on using it right up till the same day of the event without getting caught.

There are ways to speed up the removal of steroids that are present in your body and let’s say it’s nothing new. All you have to do is train harder with weights which will increase your metabolism rate and if it is fatty soluble drugs that need getting rid of, then you should concentrate on aerobic type exercises as this will help break down you fatty stores, releasing the stored drugs.

You should also try and take on more calories by introducing additional daily meals to increase your metabolism and drug clearance rate. The correct method will all depend on the drugs you have taken and what you really want to achieve at your next event.
