SaleHoo is not a scam

Posted on November 26th, 2008 by Jason Roddick
by Paul Jenrod

Terry Gibbs in his SaleHoo Sucks website has stated that SaleHoo is a scam. He says this with no suitable evidence. And he does this to quite obviously profiteer from people who are searching for reviews of SaleHoo as he advertises his own website immediately after his review.

Terry set up his salehoo sucks website to tell people that salehoo is a scam. He did this because he knew that it would rank highly in search engines such as google (when people search for salehoo) as sensationalist stories tend to rank highly. And he did this with the intent of promoting his own website.

Evidence that all is not above board in Terry’s website is obvious when a user tries to post a comment on his forum. You can’t, he has disabled comments. Yet there are comments there. How can there be comments there if they are disabled?

Terry gives some very weak evidence that SaleHoo is a scam by stating that not all of SaleHoo’s deals are bargains. SaleHoo does not control the suppliers in its directory and also the prices that Terry used as examples were not accurate at the date of his review. The prices offered by SaleHoo’s wholesalers were actually lower than Terry claimed.

The reader of this article should also be aware that none of the AuctionXFactor product, produced by SaleHoo was plagiarized, or paraphrased from any of Terry Gibb’s works. Yet Terry made it look as though that was the case.

The word scam should never be used without proper evidence and due thought. It is incredibly harmful to SaleHoo’s business, and yet there was poor evidence displayed by Terry Gibbs, other than obvious jealousy and resentment. It boils down to the fact that Terry is annoyed that SaleHoo is purchased by more people than who visit and purchase from him and he believes he has a better product. That in no way makes salehoo a scam.

SaleHoo is not a scam. SaleHoo is a directory of quality wholesale suppliers, closeout sales and drop-shippers. It is a paid membership site where members pay a one-time lifetime access fee to access regularly updated list of suppliers. Members are able to contact SaleHoo staff and chat with them online about any issues they may be experiencing, and if SaleHoo does not have a supplier for a certain product or product range, they will locate one when a member makes a request. SaleHoo also has a lively forum where members are able to partner up with other members, and SaleHoo frequently has suppliers jumping on the forum to offer exclusive discounts to SaleHoo members.

Unfortuantely the internet has a very long memory for this type of thing. SaleHoo is certainly going to be adversely affected by Terry’s actions for a long time to come. People who search for salehoo in the search engines will find Terry’s biased and unfair review and will purchase from Terry instead without knowing the real truth.

If you want to read it, Salehoo has set up their own reply to Terry’s review. The truth is out there and ready for you to read.

A Guide to Online Backup

Posted on November 26th, 2008 by Lauren Thompson
by Ada Denis

Why change my existing backup solution?

Your current windows backup software may very well be running with problems and you may even have bought an external hard drive or even have a server running at home to keep your backup secure. Online backup solution are by many considered an expensive solution if you only need to take a small backup now and then, while others think online backup is too risky and therefore buy their own home backup solution with mirrored hard drives and what not. I would like to demystify all these statements.

Why use Online Backup?

Online backup is much more than just windows backup software, but provides you with a highly reliable backup solution, which can run in the background like we not it from antivirus software, that is guaranteed to keep your data stored on a reliable medium and additionally provides you with remote access to all your backup files like is was a online storage for files. If needed you can access all your files or create a new backup while sitting in the train on your way to work or bring your laptop with you on your vacation and immediately store your photos on a reliable backup until you get home. Imagine your laptop being stole or broke on your way home and all your family photos were lost. Internet backup services will solve all these issues for you. One last thing to mention is the storage capacity. While your normal windows backup software relies on your medium to have enough free space to store all your backups, online backup is unlimited. Some online backup services even provide free usage for private users as long as the data doesn’t exceed 2 GB. If you need more than 2 GB, you pay a monthly fee, which usually is around $5 and then you have unlimited space.

Online Backup Requirements

Requirements for running online backup are very few. You computer has to be running on Microsoft windows for using any windows backup software and you need to have an internet connection for using the internet backup services. Many of the online backup sites require you to do a test of your internet connection speed and if it is not sufficient, they will tell you not to use their services. In my experience, there is not such thing as a too slow internet connection. It all depends on what you want to back up. If you only have a couple of thousand word documents, you can do it with a very slow connection, though the initial backup will take quite some time. If you intend to back up your whole hard drive with all programs, images and word documents, you probably need a 512 kilobit connection or better.

Wrapping up

Using internet backup services provides you with better accessibility, unlimited space and very low costs compared to a power consuming backup server. This small article is the first in a series of articles about the subject and advantages, or disadvantages, by using an online backup solution.

Teaching Yoga

Posted on November 26th, 2008 by Kiiera Success Group
by Kiiera Success Group

Yoga is one of the fastest growing exercise and meditation programs in the country. The reason for the fast growth is basically the number of benefits that range from improved overall health to better emotional health. The research continually finds the benefits of yoga to indicate far better mental and physical health. As this form of exercise continues to expand so also does the need for qualified instructors. Beginners should seek guidance from a good yoga teacher so as to eliminate possible injury from overstretched muscles and joints. The encouragement and guidance of a good instructor can help achieve goals and thus have the student able to practice independently.

There are several levels of Yoga instructors available to teach. Becoming certified requires the student reach the level of knowledge of his teacher. The Yoga Alliance has certain requirements for individuals who would teach and therefore is the watchdog for specific standard requirements.

There is a 200 hour and also a 500 hour certification process. After this completion the instructor may use the initials RYT after his name. Many training programs are available, and there are a few requirements before you can become a student. One requirement would be that you have practiced yoga for a number of years and also to be able to do a handstand in the middle of the room.

Most instructors are unable to make a full time living giving instruction. If they succeed it takes long hours and very hard work, without any health benefits or 401 K plans. Many are in fact able to handle two jobs and teach yoga classes evenings or on the weekends. These hard working instructors would do well to guard their health and well being with the benefits of a new health product call Kiiera Viv. This brand new product is all natural, healthy, good tasting and convenient. Small packets contain the powder that you simply add to your water. This healthy drink is not only delicious but improves both energy and body function.

In searching for a qualified instructor, start by looking at local yoga centers. Some offer their own training programs and you should check out their curriculum before deciding to start training. It can cost a yoga instructor several thousand dollars to become certified so this industry has become a money making operation. Check any program you consider to make sure it has a Yoga Alliance certification which will guarantee any certificate you receive on completion is valued at another center.

Other things to consider would be cost, schedules and personalities. Tuition can run close to $3000.00 in fees to become certified at the 200 hour level, and can double if you move on to the s500 hour level. Consider your schedule and how it will work with the classes. Some training can be for 8 hours a day and will take only a month or so to achieve the 200 hours training. Other program may take longer if it is an evening or week end class. Your choice depends on the hours you devote to actual class time. The last point would be to consider the personality of the instructor, since you will be spending a lot of time together.

Is it legal to wholesale real estate?

Posted on November 26th, 2008 by Jesse Davis
by Jesse Davis

Let’s say you are interested in getting started wholesaling properties but not sure what the state laws are concerning this kind of real estate transactions and you don’t want to break any laws unknowingly.

First of all, although every state is different I can tell you that wholesaling is legal everywhere. That is just business and the free market system – buy low and sell high – nothing to worry about here.

If you are not a realtor, you are not considered a professional and you have less to worry about. Even though some realtors don’t know Jack – I know some friends who have taken Realtor tests in several different sates and passed without any studying. In most states you have to score only 70 to pass and get your license – a D grade when I was in school. So much for being professional.

Anyway, here is my philosophy about the legal aspect. Do what is right and be brutally honest in everything you do – and you have nothing to worry about. If you are still concerned about the legality, talk to a real estate closing attorney (or a real estate specific attorney) and they can direct you.

In my opinion, the only people that should be worried about legalities are people who are trying to cheat others. When you purchase and sell a house “As Is”, a buyer will not be able to come back on you. Be honest about everything and don’t try to trick anybody in any way. Do right, tell the truth, and you should have nothing to worry about.

Taking your Hobby a Step Further in Arizona

Posted on November 26th, 2008 by Chris Blackerby
by Chris Blackerby

Perhaps you enjoy doing crafts such as knitting, crochet or needlework. Perhaps you prefer working with wood creatively: whittling and carving to create intricate sculptures. Or perhaps the kitchen is your domain, making new recipes and improving old ones. Whatever your hobby may be, surely it’s definitely a talent to treasure. But usually it’s only shared with your family and friends alone. Why not take your hobby a step beyond that and share your talent with more people in crafts and trade fairs and festivals? Besides showcasing your work, you could gain a little extra income from it.

But how do you begin without any contact with people who attend events like that? Would the events you know of be close to where you live or will it take you some extra effort just to get there? Would you even know where to begin when it comes to finding some information? You would need a reliable source of data about the upcoming crafts and trade fairs and festivals in the country or even just in Arizona just so you could see what event you could possibly start participating in.

One way of doing this would be to get some contacts maybe from a fair you’ve attended once. Then from there, effectively network so you can have constant updates about what’s going on in and around the state and country. But what if you can’t make time to go to a fair or find people in the first place? What handy option would be available to you?

Conveniently, there are databases of all crafts and trade fairs and festivals for every state. For Arizona, there is a calendar of these events available for your use as well.

People would definitely appreciate the talent that goes into various crafts on display at the fairs and festivals. By participating in these types of events, you’ll be able to share your talent with more people. And maybe you would be able to earn a little extra to boot for your skills. Who knows, maybe the rest of Arizona will recognize you for it, too!

By joining a service that keeps you updated on all these fairs and festivals happening in Arizona you would be making your life easier and you could have an easier time getting ready for any new events you would plan to showcase your works in. It would be wonderful to take that hobby of yours a step further and make it a little business.

How To Get UK Lottery

Posted on November 26th, 2008 by Susan Renolds
by Susan Renolds

To many people, the lottery represents an opportunity to win money, in large or small amounts, in a legal, organized, even communally beneficial way. To others, it represents an opportunity to take advantage of people’s optimism and good will by scamming them in the name of a legal lottery.

Unfortunately, the UK National Lottery is no different from other organized lotteries in the world. Lottery players, and sometimes non-lottery players, need to educate themselves about the methods these scammers use. Scams are not difficult to spot if you know what to look for.

Take the email below, as an example. This is an actual email that has circulated among UK residents.

We are proud to say that over 200 Million Pounds are won annually in more than 150 countries worldwide.

Yours Truly Graham Lewis

CO-ORDINATOR (ONLINE PROMO PROGRAMME)

This first thing that should raise your suspicions – if you did not buy a lottery ticket, you cannot win the lottery. If you did buy a ticket, it is your responsibility to match the number and notify the lottery that you won.

You WILL NOT be notified by email by any legitimate lottery that you won a prize. All emails claiming differently are scams. Do not reply to any of them.

Did you notice the horrible spelling, grammar and word usage in this email? All communication handled by the two large, legal lotteries in the UK, the National Lottery and the Monday Lottery, will be professionally written. And, again, it will NEVER be in the form of an email notifying you of winnings.

Some other things to know:

There is no such thing as a “computer ballot system” or “computer email draw.” There is no database of email addresses that can “win” you the lottery.

This scammer is asking you to reply to a free email account (hotmail, Yahoo, etc.) Proper business organizations use their own email, domain and website.

A real lottery will never ask you to keep quiet about your winnings. Publicizing winnings is one way the lotteries get more people to play.

If you think you’re being scammed, or have been scammed, contact the national lottery for help resolving the matter.

ESL Training Online will enable you to gain Knowledge without Studying Overseas

Posted on November 26th, 2008 by Amy Nutt
by Amy Nutt

Quite possibly the most fun and effective way to learn a new language is to completely immerse yourself in the native culture of the language that you are trying to learn. This way you would have first hand experience with the people who regularly speak the language and get to see and feel all of the little nuances that are important to truly becoming fluent in a second language. Constant exposure to a language spoken by natives as you are trying to learn can really help with the learning process, giving you a great feel not only for the words of the new language, but how to say them in different situations.

Unfortunately, the above mentioned scenario isn’t an option for very many people. Living and learning abroad can be an incredible expense – almost too much in fact, for the average working person who is looking to learn a second language can afford. But that doesn’t mean that you should give up your dream of becoming fluent in more than just your native tongue. Learning a new language can be done from anywhere. All you need is a good instructor from an online English school, a good program and the dedication to stick to that program.

Fortunately for those that still have the strong desire to expand their mind and increase their knowledge by learning English as a second language – ESL training online is a fantastic and effective alternative to traveling to learn abroad.

For some people to effectively learn a language they need to have one on one attention with the instructor and with ESL online training you’ll have just that. You will have an instructor dedicated to one on one communication with you through the entire process of learning English and you’ll get all that attention right from the comfort of your own home.

You’ll incur no travel expenses and have the opportunity to learn your new and valuable skill in the most comfortable atmosphere in the world to you – your own home. You can set up your learning space however you see fit to suit your own needs while you are immersing yourself in your new language. You’ll be able to learn at your own pace, without being held back or bothered by the interruptions of other students who aren’t progressing at the same level as you are. There will be an atmosphere with no games or hold ups. It will just be you, your instructor and your lessons, ensuring that you get the most knowledge possible each and every time you sit down to learn.

There is no doubt that learning a new language will have many, many benefits for you and for your career; and there is little doubt that the single most valuable and useful language to take on as a second is English. Learning English Online can make new opportunities available to you at your current job or open the door to you with a bigger and better company and it can dramatically increase your opportunity to learn other things by giving you access to all of the incredible resources out there that are only available to those that can read and understand English. If you happen to be one of the very few that are lucky enough or wealthy enough to have the opportunity to learn it while staying where it’s spoken by all fluently than don’t hesitate to do so, but if you can’t, that should be no reason to stop your dream of speaking English as your second language – ESL online training is readily available and nearly as good as immersing yourself directly in the culture.
