Internet network marketing is a beast that only a few have tamed but has slain thousands with dashed hopes and forgotten dreams. There have been many that have tested these waters only to find that they are both cold and deep. I know your pain if you have felt the effects of failed attempts at getting your business up and running so I’ll share what I know the “Guru’s” won’t dare tell you.

First, here’s my little disclaimer. I’m not going to share anything that you don’t already know but I suggest you stick with me hear because you may just have the Aha! moment you’re looking for.

Keeping an open mind as I share this with you is more important than anything at this point. Without it you may miss the critical information you need to have a significant breakthrough in your business.

In my opinion, these are the foundational building blocks to any successful business model, even internet network marketing. So here we go my friend!

1. First of all, everything works! Alright, I said it! All the programs, marketing “secrets” and so on work. Bottom line is they work best for those that work them. So, find something (one thing at a time) you feel good about, work your butt off until you master it and get into profits.

2. Everyone that you see or meet on the internet is not a gazillionaire! You aren’t alone in your pursuit to greatness. Never forget that and take one step at a time and be consistent (that means daily if you need clarity) in your efforts and you will reach your goals in the time frame allotted for YOU! It’s not about what everybody else is doing.

3. Don’t try to do it alone. Find a mentor that you can relate to but doesn’t allow you to make excuses for mediocrity. This is really the job of a coach to help you grow and develop. You should also be involved in mastermind groups and communities related to your field as no one person can do it alone. Get connected!

Alright, let’s go over these again in basic layman’s terms:

1. Hard, focused work (this is where you get traction in your business)

2. Consistency (I mean like everyday, hello!)

3. Mentoring (community and drawing strength from others is vital)

Like I said before, I knew before you read this you’d probably think to yourself, “Kylon, I already knew that and now I’ve just wasted three and a half minutes of my life reading this article!”

On the other hand, ask yourself this question. Am I doing these things to grow my internet network marketing business everyday? It actually takes, focused, hard and shared (leveraged) work to be successful and internet network marketing is no exception.

Unfortunately, most of those I have encountered over my last eight years in internet network marketing is people want to spread themselves thin, instead of focusing on something. They’d rather work smart, not hard and do it by themselves without support or community. Ask any multi-millionaire if he consistently worked hard and got help along the way and they would tell you “Yes” every time.

How Lifestyle Change When The Technology Change

In a world powered by technology, driven by bottom lines, and information-accessible world-wide, its a wonder were not all robots. The temptation to so fully digitize oneself is great. When was the last time you bought a stamp or sent a personal letter to a friend? We send e-cards and gift cards instead, and how much do we even spend communicating one-on-one? Its in this atmosphere of wireless capability that even home automation becomes important, or seems to.

I can remember when letter-writing was an art form and those who were good at it seemed to be building libraries of goodwill for themselves. Everyone liked to get a letter in the mail; I think we still do.

When I moved to Toronto, the big thing was plasma big-screen TVs. We had to hire a Toronto TV installation crew to put ours in because one couldnt live without it, could they? We have to automate every aspect of our homes these days or we just can interface with others. Goodness, even the language has changed! And its everywhere! They sure were open about where we could (and because we could, we certainly should) make changes and upgrades.

For example, no one turned knobs anymore. There were about a dozen areas where the knobs on things were disparaged and new digital systems described as better, more efficient. Because they were so enthusiastic, I didnt want to ask our Toronto TV installation crew whether these handy gizmos were then more prone to breaking or just quitting. I didnt want to dampen their pioneer spirit. Toronto is a town that invites change and yet remains true to its history. These guys were just a cultural phenomenon and I had to give them credit for their broad knowledge base.

That’s because the coaxial cables that carry the signals are better shielded from interference than phone lines, buried underground so that they aren’t subject to interference from the atmosphere, and are short enough not to have light speed time lag problems.

In addition to reliability issues, broad band cable high speed Internet is a much better value than the others. For example, Comcast’s Internet service is in the same general price range as DSL service, even though DSL is so much slower. High speed Internet from Comcast is actually much cheaper than satellite Internet services. That’s because of all of the extra equipment that it takes to send and receive satellite signals, plus the service itself tends to be two or three times as much as broad band cable Internet per month!

While there are always exceptions, the vast majority of people should find that broad band cable high speed Internet through a cable company like Comcast is a no brainer.

Sadly, applicants who appear to have all the qualities required to do well in a graduate role, for any number of reasons often fall short.

Target levels have to be reached consistently in graduate jobs and this requires sustained motivation. The most charismatic and natural sales person still needs to maintain discipline if they are to succeed. In other words if they get bored quickly they may under perform.
