Facts About Secrets of the Millionaire Mind Book

by Jadie Howersten

When I first started looking at T. Harv Eker’s Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, I thought it looked like just another scheme. After all, there are plenty of books out there with good sales pitches and poor support for what they claim to do. So, I took a second look.

You should use Secrets of the Millionaire Mind differently from many other works. It’s not a guide to your finances, but a tool to motivate you and help you focus on life. Lots of people won’t think there’s anything to use in this book, since it doesn’t offer much concrete financial advice, but they’re wrong.

The most important thing you need to know is in the title of the book. If you want to be rich, you need to know the secrets of a millionaire mind. Just change your mental approach to money, happiness and success, and you’ll be surprised by what happens.

According to Eker, each of us has our own internal script that tells us how to react and deal with money. He calls this our financial blueprint, and says it’s created by the money messages we encounter throughout our lives. Those messages can come from entertainment, family, friends, and events that happen around us.

Unfortunately, the money maps we pick up are often full of errors. Those problems are what keep us from having a good relationship with money. The book tells us seventeen different ways that middle class and poor people have blueprints that keep them from success.

Some things we can pick up from this book to teach us the secrets of a millionaire mind are to think big, focus on opportunities, admire successful people, associate with positive people, and to be bigger than our problems. It’s time to stop letting the world happen to us. Instead, we should create our own lives.

Each point is carefully explained, showing us how the successful discard beliefs that limit them. Unsuccessful people allow those beliefs to take over. This is a book that’s about success and happiness at base, and the way those things can lead us to wealth.

Of course, if you’re not willing to open your mind and rearrange your internal financial blueprint, you could be disappointed by Secrets of the Millionaire mind. This might not be the book for you. On the other hand, if you’re ready to put in some work and change the way you think, it could kickstart you on the road to success.

If you’ve been thinking that there’s nothing to learn from Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, it’s time to look again. You’ll be surprised by the difference you notice in the way you approach success. I certainly feel differently about it!

Resources – I Hate Writing Articles

by Marc Foster

Owning, running and maintaining an internet based business or a site needs articles. Plain and simple, every who has a site knows this. Even those who don’t have sites but are frequent internet users knows this as well. Articles quench the thirst for information and knowledge of the people. Plus, the articles provides many other benefits for the site. The benefits that articles provide are putting a site high in the ranking in search results of keywords and keyword phrases that pertains or are relevant to his or her site. They also provide attraction to website visitors when they are appreciated and is linked to your site from another site or newsletter. Articles provide for the increase of the confidence and trust levels of customers to your site and company.

Many articles are also beneficial to both company and its traffic. When the readers like the articles, they would tell more of their friends, family and peers and recommend your site to them, providing for a larger volume of traffic. You get bigger sales if your traffic trusts and believes in you. Your product or services would be much easier to sell when they know you know what you are doing and talking about.

So ok, we have established that articles are very important to a site and to business. Articles are crucial and to keep ahead in the game, a site must have an article, it is imperative. There is one dilemma though, not many people like writing articles. Many website owners would rather spend their time on something else, and unless you’re a big time company, you don’t have the necessary resources to use on a pool of article writers. Plagiarism or copying of other articles is frowned upon and could easily get you into trouble, worst case scenario; a hefty fine and jail time.

What are the other options? Well, for starters, if you do not like writing articles and you can not afford to hire people to write to then do not. Get free articles. The first place to look for free items is in the public domain. Here you had no problem with copyright infringement and one of the following sanctions and fines if caught by plagiarism.

Articles are in the public domain, free articles for the public for public use. You can do whatever you want with it. You can place it on your site, the name as yours, as in a newsletter to its decision. Always remember, however, that you should select items that are very relevant to your site. The disadvantage is that the public domain articles, as it is free for the entire world, many of its competitors can access them. It may also be necessary to edit them to put little more keywords and keyword phrases to make them better.

Another way to get free articles is to allow other websites that have the same subject or theme as yours to send articles to your site. That would only increase their content or else all your articles lead to other sites because these rules are boxes with the resources they could or link directly to the readers of your site. That’s why it’s important to have your own articles; cold they use to link your site to other sites as well.

But, to truly feel the impact of what a good article to you, go for original ones. There are many article writers who do part time and freelance article writing jobs that charges only minimal fees. You can get good articles that have all the keywords and keyword phrases you need and people are looking for. The investment you made for these articles would be worthwhile because you could use them for all the benefits you could offer. You hold copyrights to them and you will be able to use them anyway you want. As your articles help you in building your business and your site, you will have more articles to write and maybe then you wont be having second thoughts about articles.

How to Start a Christian Home Business

by Ada Denis

Would you like to start your own Christian home business? Whether you have your own idea for a business already or are just starting to look for opportunities, you have the best chance at success if you do your homework. Starting your own home business is an important decision that should not be rushed. Be sure to carefully and prayerfully evaluate all your options before moving forward.

1. Before you start researching ideas for businesses, take some time to think about what you are good at and what you enjoy. Also determine how many hours a day you could devote to a Christian home business and when in the day you would be available to work. If you have small children at home, your primary work hours may be after the kids are in bed. Any opportunity that would require daytime availability would not be a good fit in that case.

2. Once you have determined your strengths and time availability, start looking for opportunities that match these constraints. Do a search using Google on the phrases “Christian Home Business” and “Christian Work at Home”. Bookmark any sites you find to refer back to as you move forward.

3. At first, just do some surface-level researching and write down the home business opportunities that look interesting. Don’t confine your research to just Christian opportunities – you may be able to find a non-Christian home business that you can put your own Christian spin on. The key here is to see what is out there and potentially generate your own unique ideas.

4. Once you have a list of promising home businesses, start to research each opportunity in more depth. What, if any, are the start up costs? Is there a forum for support from others in the business? Look for work at home message boards to get inside information on a given business. Keeping a spreadsheet that lists each business idea and your research findings is a good way to compare opportunities side-by-side.

5. After doing research on each Christian home business, start ranking each opportunity based on your qualifications from step 1. Determine what would be necessary to start up each business – are there opportunities with very small start up costs that you could try out without losing alot of money? Unfortunately, finding the right home business is sometimes a matter of trial and error with alot of learning along the way.

6. Finally, be sure to check with an accountant before starting your own Christian home business. Be sure to consider the tax implications of being self-employed when evaluating the amount of income you will need to be successful. And most importantly, always pray for guidance before making any decisions.

Advances in Networking Solutions

by Abatha Williams

Carrier Ethernet–also called common carriers in the technology industry jargon”is the needed extension to allow network providers the ability to make available customers with Ethernet services. This allows utilization of carrier Ethernet technology.

Common carrier and carrier Ethernet has a great demand because of the high quality ability to bring together all technology. The good network vendors sell carrier Ethernet equipment for purchase. Also for MAN (metropolitan area network) uses carrier Ethernet exclusively.

Legacy services for backhaul and limitless scalability and uniformity are another use for carrier Ethernet. Carrier Ethernet is the most reliable networking solution available at this time. Common carrier communications are in higher demand as the demand for converged services rises.

Carrier Ethernet is quickly becoming the top of the line connection access to Internet with technology-based packets rather than some of the outdated technology such as the T1-T3 series.

Bandwidth is always something networking professionals need to be concerned with. In the past bandwidth has been a troublesome source as network engineers are forced to reconfigure any changes through hardware and not the simplicity of software.

Ethernet solution networks are more reliable than other options of the same classifications like the T1 and T3. Ethernet controls allow more flexibility to make the network changes to meet various application needs. There are fewer problems with carrier Ethernet than the networks that came before these.

Massive networks are a very pricey part of a business overhead and must be carefully considered. Carrier Ethernet cost reduction simplified technology brings lower prices and can consume less power, also very cost effective.

With so many competing companies selling carrier Ethernet products its a challenge on how to choose which company to purchase from. Many users find online product reviews and message boards a useful source of customer service information. This could help you with a very expensive decision.

Brain Sparks for Content Ideas

by Julie Johnson

If you are lucky enough to have someone writing constant content for your site, good for you. If you are like the rest of us, who eventually get stumped, read on. We have created a list of things to include, as well as not to include, when this happens.

Announce any new product or special offer. List the reasons your clients do business with you: this should provide a very long list of blog entries. Every single selling point about your company will make at least one article. Why small business is better, a price comparison (even why it is not worth it to go cheap), describe a new higher quality source you found for your product/service, or the reasons your products/service are higher quality (imported or made in USA, you buy in bulk and pass the savings on), all your work is done in house and not outsourced, and on and on.

Create employee profiles as well as detailed reviews of products. provide buying guides or provider lists for your products. Share personal stories with everyone, as well as customer testimonies. Create an FAQ list that answers questions individually.

News news news: any single news item that in any way relates to your industry: summarize it and share how it affects you, or your opinion. Company news: this covers more than you think on the surface. Anniversary, added a staffer, moved offices, got a new copier (ok I’m exaggerating there), but trivial is fine. Other ideas: Any charitable contributions or activities you or your staff are involved in, received an award, new strategy, new behind the scenes software or improved efficiency, speaking at ANY event, conduct a survey and announce results, attending a seminar or further education of staff, new significant clients.

You should try to include things like what to avoid or what not to do. You can recommend companies that you work with. Don’t be afraid to look at your competition. It can give you ideas, and there is nothing wrong with it. Create top 5 lists or top 5 mistakes….lists are good.

My Computer Is So Slow, Is There Any Hope For It?

by Ed Lathrop

There is probably nothing more bothersome than a computer that is so slow it seems like it just can’t get out of its own way! I’ve seen nice calm, normal folks just about ready to blow a cork because their computer was taking hours to do a job that should take only a few minutes.

I can see how it can make a computer owner angry because they paid for a fast computer, so they think it is reasonable to expect a fast computer. However, they find themselves sitting at their computer desk waiting and waiting and waiting for something to happen. Moreover, it is confusing. Most people who have this experience ask, “what did I do wrong?” Actually, they didn’t do anything wrong.

Is it possible to get the get-up-and-go back into this now almost useless computer? Is there anything that can be done to resurrect it now that it is acting like Radio Shack TRS-80? (That’s a really old computer with no modem, hard drive and even no floppy drive). The happy answer is yes, there is and I will now explain what you can do.

Let’s Talk About Malware

The first thing we have to do to get our slow running computer back up to speed is give it a good spyware scan. Most people I know already have a spyware cleaner installed on their computers. A spyware cleaner would be some kind of spyware/malware/adware cleaning program that you have installed on your computer or came on the computer when it was new.

Some of you will not have a spyware cleaner installed but you will have a virus scanner on your computer. This is okay as spyware cleaners and virus scanners basically perform the same function. The viruses the virus scanners get rid of and the spyware the spyware cleaners get rid of all fall under the category of malware or malicious software. Both virus scanners and spyware cleaners clean malware out of your computer. Usually, neither type of cleaner will miss any kind of parasite.

All this means that the first step in getting your computer’s speed back is making sure you have no viruses or malicious software. How do you do this? Scan your computer with a good virus and/or spyware cleaner. Don’t have one? Well in that case, you better get one quickly.

Unfortunately, you may not be able to install a new spyware cleaner on a computer that is hardly running. So, if this is the case, you may have to bring your computer to a repair shop and have it scanned from another source.

Spyware Free?

If you are able to a run a spyware or virus scan and you find you are free of these parasites, this is fine and it brings us to this conclusion. Probably, you have corruption in the registry. With a slow computer you always have to get rid of the malware first because a registry cleaner won’t. Then, after you are sure you have no parasites and your computer is still crawling along, it is time to do a registry scan. This is easy and it’s free. Just go on-line if you can and do a registry scan.

If it is operating, even really slowly, get on-line, go to the site of a top shelf registry cleaner program and take them up on their offer to give you a free scan. Every good registry cleaner I know of offers a free scan. By getting one you will be able to see if it is the fact you need your registry cleaned that is taking all the zip out of your computer.

If you do have corruption in your registry, you will have to purchase the registry cleaner’s license so you can let this program repair your registry. Don’t worry, registry cleaners are dirt cheap when you consider the great service they perform, like making your computer fast again.

Registry cleaners are tools that are necessary for keeping your computer up to speed these days. There are a lot of new things bombarding your registry now that just weren’t thought of a few years ago. Only by keeping the registry clean can you keep your computer’s speed at its normal rate. Even better is the fact that by using today’s enhanced cleaners, which include optimizers, you may find your computer will be faster than ever!

Best Comcast Internet Deals

by Rachel Smith

When it comes to the marketing campaigns that companies use to sell their products and services, some are little more than hyperbole and pointless noise. Most adds for car dealerships on the radio are examples of this. At the other end of the spectrum though, you can find marketing campaigns that actually provide deals that are not only attractive, but also beneficial as well. The bundles of telecommunications services that a lot of companies are offering to residential customers these days constitute a good example of the latter.

While bundled home telecommunications services may offer real value to customers, some of them tend to be better than others. Cable TV companies in general- and Comcast in particular- tend to offer bundled packages that are a good value, while other types of companies bear some scrutiny when looking into the deals that they offer. Generally, any company that has to ally itself with another company in order to offer more than one service deserves some wariness.

An example of a company that might offer bundled services but can only do so with the help of another company would be a phone company. After all, while a phone company should be fairly competent when it comes to offering phone services, there Internet service is likely to be very limited and their TV service is probably nonexistent. After all, phone lines are pretty dinky when it comes to transmitting anything other than conversation. This translates into slow Internet connections either through DSL or dial up. Some phone companies have experimented with providing TV programming over DSL connections (actual channels rather than streaming Internet video), but given that the bandwidth of DSL is severely limited when it comes to Internet data, video like that has proven to be too much for that technology to handle.

Because of all of this, a phone company has to contract with a satellite TV company and possibly even a satellite Internet company to cover all of the bases. Plus, if you see a deal where a stellite TV company is offering high speed Internet service or phone service, you can be sure that it’s farming those services out to other companies as well. All of this makes a leader in the cable TV industry- like Comcast- a much better choice for multiple services.

The real trouble with dividing up services among different companies and then offering them on one bill is that customer service can be sub par. That’s because this scenario opens up the distinct possibility of one company passing the blame for some kind of an aberration in service to another company. In other words, you can have two or even three companies all blaming each other for some problem with your phone service, TV service, or high speed Internet connection rather than ever getting around to fixing the problem.

By contrast, with a company like Comcast, there’s no where to pass the buck. Moreover, since the same company is in charge of everything, you probably won’t have the same kinds of problems with conflicting services to begin with. The point is to be careful when choosing bundled services and use Comcast’s method of providing those services as a model.

ACN – Review

by Brian Turk

ACN was founded by the following four individuals, Robert Stevanovski, Mike Cupisz, Tony Cupisz and Greg Provenzano back in 1993. In their first year as a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company they achieved revenues of nearly 2 million dollars. The ACN company headquarters is located in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

The ACN telecommunications based company offers products like long distance phone service plans, digital phone service, wireless phone plans and Internet Services. The Internet services give you the option between dial-up, or DSL – high speed. However, most people today choose the DSL – high speed option over the dial-up. The business receives many great reviews, and testimonials with all of their products.

The ACN (MLM) business uses the traditional multi-level compensation plan. Your income grows significantly as you recruit new customers and new Independent Representatives. The ACN payout is roughly around 15 to 20% on every dollar spent on their products. As soon as you acquire your first customer as an ACN Independent Representative, you will receive commissions from that customer as long as they continue to use ACN Telecommunications services.

The ACN members sometimes have a difficult time, since this type of technology business have many competitors to overcome, in order to make a nice income. Some people do fine with this type of multi-level compensation plan, but many tend to struggle in order to maintain an attractive residual income.

In conclusion, the ACN business opportunity does have some very nice products. However, I found it difficult to produce a healthy income, since there is so much competition with their products. Plus, it would take many sales in order to start seeing the money you could make with far less sales. This business is like any other business though, meaning in order to be successful you would need to play full on and give it your 100%.

Best Massage Therapy Business Card Tips

by Janette Lindz

If you are thinking of starting a massage business, then you should get a massage therapy business card first. However, you should remember though that a massage therapy business card is around for a purpose.

Why You Need It

People can have business cards for various reasons. The most obvious reason for a massage therapy business card is to use it as a marketing tool. Aside from your ads, banners and targeted media marketing, your massage therapy business card can be a little tool that can go places. Let’s get this straight though, not everyone agrees to using a business card as a marketing tool. For some a business card is simply a professional statement that they are reputable therapists and businessmen. In this day and age, a business card adds to the image of a business.

Why It’s Useless Sometimes

Business cards can sometimes be a waste of good money. You give your cards away only to be left forgotten in a drawer by a potential client. Most people these days receive a whole lot of cards from other businesses so your card will probably not receive special treatment and be carried around. Your card will end up useless whether you are using it as a marketing tool or an image builder.

Card Tips

In order for your massage therapy business card to serve its purpose of drawing customers, you need to add more than just your name, business name and contact information. Here are some basic tips on how you can improve your card:

– As a marketing tool, your massage therapy business card should be more inviting and interesting enough to make potential clients call for an appointment. One classic way of doing that is to tell your clients why their life is so miserable with all that body pain and why they need you. Something simple like, “Is that muscle pain keeping you away from work and family? We’ll help drive the pain away,” might do the trick.

– A good business card is one that can solicit an immediate action from a potential client. One way to do that is to give a bold FREE offer on your card that they can’t resist. You can offer a free service, a free online newsletter subscription or free oils or other items. Make sure you tell them that the offer is limited and not forever so that they’ll scramble in line.

– One way to make a massage therapy business card unforgettable is to make it a little personal. You can put a lovely photo of yourself or a handwritten signature just to let people know that you are a real person and not just the name of a clinic. Some people respond better when they see evidence of personality and character.

– There is now an open debate on whether it matters if you have full colored glossy cards or a simple black and white one. A glossy well colored card would definitely tell people that you have a lot of class but others argue that a simple card can be redeemed by how well the card giver communicates. Just make sure though that you at least use good quality card paper and something more than just laser printer ink.
