Without trying too hard, it is possible to get cheap Kentucky Auto Insurance. As a resident in the state of Kentucky, you have a lot of control over how much you will be charged on your car insurance. But it is up to you to make sure you don’t pay too much.

As you are shopping for, or reevaluating your insurance, it is important to know that you can find good prices on insurance. In the general public most people have no idea about these ideas, even though they are very simple. If you follow this basic information, you will be able to easily save yourself significant cash

The first step you should take in saving yourself money on your insurance is going to your insurance agent and making sure you are getting all the possible discounts. There are many different discounts out there, and if you work with your agent to give him all the information possible, you will be able to save money each month on your insurance.

Some of the discounts you can receive include having a clean driving record, owning a car with many safety features, or being in the military. If you are a student, you can save money by getting good grades. You can even save money for something as little as having an email address or having an active bank account.

As you set your deductible, know that the price you decide on weighs heavily upon the prices you will be offered by the insurance company. They are correlated inversely; the higher you set your deductible the lower your premiums will be. As long as you have enough in savings to pay a higher deductible in the case of an accident, you should raise your deductible to save yourself significant cash.

Perhaps the largest factor on the prices you receive for insurance are the levels of liability you choose. If you live in the state of Kentucky, it is required that you have a minimum of $25,000/$50,000 $10,000. This will be the cheapest way to insure your car, but it is definitely not the most intelligent. It is smart to raise your limits of liability in order to better protect yourself in the case of an accident.

If you already own your car, or if it isn’t worth much, you might decide to change your coverage. If you change your coverage from comprehensive to liability, you will save hundreds of dollars a year. However if you are currently paying off your car, your lender won’t allow this.

Why write an article on having fun with your laptop? Isn’t it obvious what you can do on the laptop? Well, I’m not so sure. Many folks I know use their laptops for business or word processing. In case you didn’t know, there are a ton of things you can do on that laptop that are both interesting and fun. Let’s check them out now.

1. A New GPS Device

Many folks do not realize they can use their laptops for GPS. What you need is a GPS device (doesn’t cost much, it’s just a small transmitter) and install the accompanying software. Then you can find out where you are anytime, anywhere! Neat stuff.

2. Play A Game

Laptops can be used for work as well as? Gaming, of course. Many laptops these days are souped up with the best graphics cards and processors, beating even their traditional desktop gaming machines. Get a good laptop, a good game, and enjoy the night …

3. Make A Travel Album

If you’re on the move and want to update your friends and family abuot your exploits, you should snap some photos with your phone or digital camera, plonk those pics into the laptop, then share em’ online. That’s the best way to let the world know where you are and what you’re doing.

4. Watch A Movie

Now, obviously this one is a no brainer. However, I’d just want to point out the best way to watch a movie on a laptop. Hook it up to a widescreen TV (if it has a S-video or HDMI video output) and enjoy a really cinematic experience.

5. Chat On The Internet

Want to know the most widely used application on a laptop? I don’t have the figures or stats, but almost everyone sitting at Starbucks with a laptop should be chatting across the Internet in some way. Or someone plugging into a school, a hotel or workplace should also be chatting on the Internet. So very clearly, this has got to be one ‘fun’ thing you can do.

6. Do An Urgent Online Transaction

I gotta say this one has saved me many times. I can’t say an urgent online transaction is ‘fun’, but I thought I’d mention this one anyway. If you forget to pay your credit card bill, or book movie tickets, a laptop is a life saver! Just log on to a wireless hotspot and do the transaction. In the old days, you’d have to hope someone you know was at home on the desktop and could do the same for you. Now that’s history with your laptop with you all the time.

7. Educate The Kids

Laptops are perfect for entertaining young kids. You can bring the machine around and follow the kid! Just browse to a flash-based game website, and play the game with your child. If he gets bored and runs away, pick up the laptop and follow him! You can’t do that with a desktop.

Conclusion

This article has shown you 7 ways to have fun with your laptop. Of course, this is just my own set of musings. Laptops have thousands of applications and we can’t possibly list them all. This article is just to give you some fun ideas of what we can do. Until next time, enjoy that laptop and happy computing!

Joe Vitale Revisited.

It’s time to revisit Joe Vitale and see just what it is he is up to now

Looks like ol Joe Vitale has hooked himself up with the film “The Secret”.

Another mystic way to improve yourself through the “Laws of Attraction”.

The film is largely influenced by Wallace D. Wattles’ 1910 book “The Science of Getting Rich.”

The Secret, described as a self-help film, uses a documentary format to present the Law of Attraction.

This law is the “secret” that, according to the tagline, “has traveled through centuries to reach you.”

The film features the short dramatized experiences and interviews of a team called “personal transformation specialists”, “spiritual messengers”, “feng shui masters”, what ever that is, and other experts, right!

As described in the film, the “Law of Attraction” principle posits that feelings and thoughts can attract events, from the workings of the cosmos to interactions among individuals in their physical, emotional, and professional affairs.

The film also suggests that there has been a strong tendency by those in positions of power to keep this central principle hidden from the public.

The previews or “clues” to the film, show men who “uncovered the Secret…”.

The film also includes quotes by historical figures, described by producer Rhonda Byrne in the voiceover as “past secret teachers.”

Byrne states in the voiceover, “I can’t believe all the people who knew this; they were the greatest people in history.”

The people identified include: Hermes Trismegistus, Buddha, Aristotle, W. Clement Stone, Plato, Isaac Newton, Martin Luther King Jr., Carl Jung, Victor Hugo, Henry Ford, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Robert Collier, Winston Churchill, Andrew Carnegie, Joseph Campbell, Alexander Graham Bell, and Ludwig van Beethoven.

Seeing as how all these people are dead it’s kind of hard to walk up to, e-mail them, or write them and ask them if they really believe in “The Secret” of if someone is just using their name to sell someone a “bill of goods” for their own profit.

Here’s a letter from “BK” who, IMO, seems to have his head on his shoulders and is thinking clearly.

BK from Fresno, CA. USA

Vitale is very believable and is listed as a “Metaphysics” expert. He and others expect you to believe that all you need to do is VISUALIZE what you want, FEEL what it will be like to receive it, and BELIEVE it will happen. Money (or whatever you wish for) will fall from Heaven. Sure it will……..

Golly “BK” it doesn’t sound like you need to apply for your secret decoder ring to get “the Secret” you know it already.

Nothing comes to you just from thinking about it. “If wishes were horses, beggars would ride” seems to come to mind

This person has asked two questions that I had asked myself when I saw the “Dr.” in front of Joe Vitale’s name. Sounds like he took the time to find the answers.

Dr Loveless from Chicago, IL

“Dr.” … of what? “PhD, from where?”

The main problem I have with Mr. Vitale is that his academic credentials are questionable.

He attended Kent State University but apparently never graduated. Nothing wrong with that in itself, except that in order to get a legitimate PhD you have to not only graduate from a 4-year college or university, you usually have to earn a master’s degree as well.

You have to dig deep online to discover that Mr. Vitale’s “PhD” is from the non-accredited University of Metaphysics in Sedona, AZ.

I find it disturbing that in Mr. Vitale’s Hypnotic Gold program he makes a point of introducing himself as Doctor Joe Vitale, as if that is his main claim to fame. I wouldn’t mind so much if the content had value, but when he interviewed a 10-year-old kid for creating a website all about farting, I had to draw the line and cancel my membership.

Do you mean to tell me that Dr. Joe Vital’s PhD was made up out of thin air, kind of like farts? Must be, as there isn’t any base B.S. or B.A. for him to build on, to get his PhD.

Somehow that doesn’t surprise me when we are talking about a man who is trying to sell you on the idea that in order to get what you want all you have to do is think good thoughts about it and it will happen.

Ok after taking another look at Joe Vitale it seems as if he’s still trying to sell his same old line of BS that the power of good thoughts will get you what you want with out any hard work on your part
