Starting a home business is an appealing idea. Earning some extra money for a bit of work is an honest exchange that has the possibility of turning into a lucrative endeavor. Everyone wants to be their own boss and be able to work as they see fit.

Unfortunately, many so called home business opportunities are actually just opportunities to be swindled. There are so many offers out there, and many of them are legitimate. But still more of them are people trying to take your money for little or nothing in return.

There is no sure way to keep yourself safe. Anyone can get taken. But there are some things you can do to make it less likely that you will become a victim. If you’re going to protect yourself, you need to know what to look for and how to spot the warning signs.

First, legitimate online businesses and business opportunities won’t charge a fee for access to their “super secret business plan guaranteed to make you money.” That doesn’t mean that if a company wants you to buy in to take part that it’s a scam.

Franchises are a good example of this. If you were to buy into a fast food or oil change franchise, you would have to pay fees. But you would also get information about the location, revenues, and you would know all the costs up front, before you pay anything.

There are some home business scams that actually do pay you something, but not nearly enough. You’ve probably seen ads that promise you thousands for stuffing envelopes or just sitting in front of your computer reading email. In reality, you would have to put in hundreds or thousands of hours in order to make anywhere near what they are promising.

If you are tempted by a home business, first determine exactly what it is that you will be doing, and then estimate the number of hours it would take to complete each specific task. Figure out how much you will be making per hour, and then ask yourself if it is really worth it. If you’re looking at minimum wage or below, it’s not going to be worth starting your own business.

Finally, just forget any offer that promises you riches for nothing. There is just no way to make big money without putting in some honest work. People who say otherwise are just hoping to run off with your money. If you do your homework and are prepared to put in the effort needed to make a legitimate business thrive, you will be much more likely to see through scams and avoid them.

A great proven way to gain weight and having been so since the times of Mark Berry, Roger Eells and others are breathing squats and pullover combo. They have been backed up by Peary Rader of Iron Man for many years and what really makes them stand out is the fact that they don’t put any strain on the spinal column like heavy squats do.

Nearly always in any of the pre-mentioned breathing squat, weight gain routines, “approx bodyweight poundages” are always suggested, and for most that is all that is needed. Japanese Sumo, and equally bulky Indian wrestlers, gained better results than some of the colorful adverts now abounding in modern mags after using Joe Blog‘s latest chemical drink.

It really doesn’t seem to make sense that by doing a more simplistic workout you get bigger gains, so there is nothing wrong at all with light squats. One of the first to use this form of exercise was as previously mentioned Roger Eells, who when not training spent his time in bed, but only for the purpose of resting.

If you are looking at progressing on from doing ‘free squats’ and I am talking about the ones without weights, it is time to move onto single leg bends on a bench. You may not even see this on modern day schedules but the guys before could reach some really amazing poundages in this difficult style, because you also need to maintain some balance.

It really is amazing that One of Britain’s best wrestlers ever Bert Assirati, who while in his 30’s managed to do 10 reps with 55Olbs/249.4kg in basic squats, and did single leg style with an additional 2OOlbs/9O.7kg on his shoulders, and Grimek was able to do the same.

Squatting without additional weight, George Eiferman, who was around at the same time as the late Steve Reeves, could manage I5O consecutive reps on one leg. Reeves didn’t really like basic squats, preferring front squats, or ‘hack’ squats, in an attempt to avoid developing to large a posterior. Even Vince Gironda was under the same opinion when it came to less butt.

SQUAT AND YOUR OUT! Gironda, self styled ‘Iron Guru’, totally discouraged basic squats, and squat racks were simply not allowed in his gym and anyone seen practicing barbell squats, weight held behind neck, was literally thrown out on his ear. Gironda, like Reeves considered squats built up big buttocks and for thigh development recommended instead the unhappily named ‘Sissy Squat’ a sort of highly controlled lean back free squat, or light weights could be added (to a belt) if you wished.

One of the best was Roy Callender and he used to just workout by instinct, and did squat 100 reps or more on sissy squats and after that would do high reps lunges, and would finish off with work on the leg extension machine. I am sure he did his fair share of basic squats to get those massive legs. Boyer Coe also did sissy squats, as he had already got plenty of power built up by basic squats, and he could squat with 5OOlbs/226.7kg at the early age of I8yrs old.

The moment the racks became common, the poundages just rocketed, and experienced bodybuilders soon began to use at first bodyweight, followed by double bodyweight, with eventually powerlifters managing the magic IOOOlbs/453.5kg mark. It is suggested that Anderson squatted with II6Olbs/526k of silver dollars twice a night while performing in Las Vegas. (Coming Soon Part 3)

Even in the great age of technology that we currently live in, there is a lack in free technology in regards to looking up a certain cell phone number. This becomes difficult because cell phone numbers are usually kept private- meaning the process of finding out who might have called you hard, but not impossible.

Even though it is common for cell phones to have caller ID, caller ID usually is limited to associating a number with a name. If the association isn’t already present, knowing who might have called can be impossible. That is, unless the Internet is consulted. Internet resources will be able to consult a list of cell phone numbers and handover information on them- but often at a price.

Some websites will indeed offer a free route in finding out a cell phone number in particular. But one should be wary of the different drawbacks, such as the many websites that request that to find the number, one must first enter their own number into their database. This is usually just a trick to get more numbers collected in their database, and will often not lead to any answers in the problem. This may also lead to privacy concerns, depending on the privacy policy of the website.

Even through deception of being free, some websites will still seek to make a profit from consumers who try their services. Any website that tries to download programs onto one’s computer should be left immediately, as one should never have to download anything in order to consult an online resource. Many times, this will be a spyware or malware download attempt.

Next we have the reverse cell phone lookup website that claims to be free, but then charges for any further information once the search is conducted. This is another way to draw in traffic for directories that just want to make a profit from the information they are requesting. In cases such as this, it’s best to either attempt to find more free resources or end up paying the fee if it is indeed inexpensive enough.

Lastly, there are online directories of home phone numbers that can be of assistance. Not every number that may call one’s cell phone is going to be another cell phone, and therefore, it will probably be listed in an online directory of regular phone numbers. These directories are almost always free, so this is a very easy option to opt for.
