Given the inexorable rise in gas prices of late, water as fuel for cars is getting a closer inspection by many people. Despite what the name might suggest, an engine that runs on water wouldn’t really be running on the water itself, but instead extracting the hydrogen gas from the water to be used as fuel. By using certain specialized equipment, the hydrogen can be separated from the oxygen in water and injected into the car’s fuel lines.

In a matter of months the iPhone has taken the world by storm. The First Generation phone was released in June of 2007 and the new 3G version was released on July of 2008. The original iPhone was credited for being very ingenious, but it also had several speed bumps along the way. Upon its release date, the public was lined up outside AT&T and Apple stores looking to grab one of the first phones. The price was about $600 which many people thought was a lot to pay for a phone. However, the early adopters gladly paid it and went on their way with their phones. Problems with the battery and other features had these same early adopters on hold with Apple tech support for hours.

In ecology, a niche refers to the place or position occupied by an organism or a population within an ecological community called the ecosystem. It is the term which defines the role the organism or the population plays in the general scheme of things. The niche an organism or a population holds is the one responsible for dictating the ability of the species to survive. It is the one which spells whether an organism or a population will perish or thrive.
