Americans typically ignore the organizations who demonstrate on our city streets showing their anti-American hatred. Most people just assume that the streets are owned by these anti-American and un-patriotic groups.

I completely disagree! The professional soldier experience I have does not accept this idea or the mentality that it is so because they are crazy or it has always been that way.

As we saw a generation ago, street theater can be turned into political muscle, especially when most of the country’s voters remain uninformed on the facts, and we have a weak-kneed Congress.

In the 1960s and 1970s the late President Richard Nixon questioned the commitment of “The Silent Majority” even as the vocal minority used media collaboration to give the impression that they owned the streets, and thus, the moral high ground.

We saw the results of this misguided policy in the communists’ murderous rampages in Southeast Asia after pro-communist groups prevailed upon the US Congress, mainly through street theater and accompanying media fraud. Congress abandoned our allies in that region and turned victory into defeat. “Kerry Lied, Millions Died” should have been the American rallying cry, instead of anti-American bombast and misrepresentations.

The previous generation’s shameful history of ceding the battlefield on the home front, while our warriors were winning all the battles in Vietnam, will not be repeated as a stain and dishonor on current warriors defending our freedom.

Now Kerry’s Veterans Against the War has modified itself into a new group called Iraq Veterans Against the War or IVAW. Using Kerry as a mentor, IVAW has scheduled a new “Winter Soldier Investigation” on March 14, 2008 in Silver Springs, Maryland. They are trying, as Kerry did in 1971 that our current US troops are also war criminals.

But this time there will be another voice on the home front. My organization, Eagles Up, www.eaglesup.us along with numerous other pro-troop groups, is working to put “boots on the ground” to expose the IVAW’s lies to America and the entire world. Our purpose is to counter and challenge IVAW Winter Soldier II (WSII) Testimony on March 14 by demanding “truth.” March the 14th and 15th will be a huge victory for America.
